jerzz
^^^Don't buy the mag anymore if you'll do so only to see how the new Civic looks like. Just drive on in to your nearest Honda dealer bec. apparently, it's out already. Just saw streamers in the village that they are offering a unit for test drive today and Sun. Honda fanatics, this is your cue...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> how much itong civic? Quote Link to comment
joveyb
how much itong civic? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I suspect the price of the car should be the same as the old one.The new honda civic 2.0 should cost almost php 1 million for thehigh end. Should be around 970,000.00 to 990,000 pesos Quote Link to comment
topak
that's what i'm expecting too. i figure look at the altis equivalent price then add between 30 to 50k and it should be thereabouts, unless of course honda wants to price itself out of the market. Quote Link to comment
moneyball
i think i'm in love with the evo X... unless may magbigay sakin ng 1965 shelby mustang o dodge charger. pang-old school ang taste ko e, hehe. Quote Link to comment
bembrat
nice pics...the evo x should be better than the common civic/altis sedans unless they come out with a group n version too. Quote Link to comment
atomic_punk
The price of old model civics probably will go down too. Kaya yun mga balak mag upgrade benta na kayo ng rides nyo tapos bili ng bago. It looks great although not as radical as the mazda 3. Looks more fun to drive kasi manual. Quote Link to comment
joveyb
I just received the Honda magazine from Honda. It showcase all the honda generations with the pictures. But from the way they write it seems that they are only offering the honda civic 1.8c.c. The 1.8 have the i-vtec technology giving it acceleration performance equivalent to a 2.0 engine. and fuel economy like that of the 1.5 liter powertrain. Quote Link to comment
fordrallyesport
malakas yang civic.. yung matic transmission nya, parang manual, ang lakas humatak! ang bilis! sa loob naman, di mo kita ang hood, magrerely ka sa experience.. hehe.. pero overall, very nice car! good value! Quote Link to comment
atomic_punk
For some reason I like the old models better than this. An evo is a cart to have though huh? Wish I had the pesetas to own one. Quote Link to comment

joveyb
So will you get one now that Honda Philippines is apparently going to bring in a 2.0L variant?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yap I am trying to get it and the honda people are pushing the car to me.But I have to get rid of the present 2.0cc. which I love a lot. It is less than 2 years old. I will try to get rid of the present 2.0 first and thenget one. I will check the engine first. It seems that the engine ofthe 8th generation new civic is the same as my engine. I will definitelytake a look one of these days Quote Link to comment
ka dante
Will the 8th generation Civic have a 6-speed manual transmission? Kasi, 6-speed seems to be the norm in Europe. :mtc: Quote Link to comment

Ferrum
I will look at it with my own eyes first before judging. Sometimes kasi the actual look and the pictures are different. Quote Link to comment
Ferrum
Of course Civic and Corolla is better in terms of fuel economy :-) Quote Link to comment
racerdude_SiR
nice pic....ganda pla ng EVO X......Nyway no match ang mga civic or corolla s mga evo's, lalo n yan evo X pa!!!! Cguro s style/design ng interior and ride comfort pde p cla i compare, but other than that wala na cguro. Engine lang, evo's come with turbo kits, stock yun. Mga civic at altis all motor lang, almost 150hp agad and lamang ng mga evo. Kung pogi points naman no doubt mas pansinin and stock na evo rather than mga pormadong civic at altis Quote Link to comment
milhouse83
came across this rare gem somewhere and thought i'd be a great idea to share it with you guys: it's the training video mitsubishi usa gives out to it's dealerships throughout the country to introduce its sales people to the evo. http://rapidshare.de/files/16968158/Mitsub...aining.avi.html - 55mb Edited April 1, 2006 by milhouse83 Quote Link to comment
joveyb
I am in Singapore now and the new 8th generation honda civics is fillingthe road in the country. The design of the new honda civics is patterningafter the Honda city and the Honda accord. The car looks reasonable indesign. I think Philippines is already late for a couple of months as to the Honda Civic. Has the new Honda Civic hit the road in Manila already? Quote Link to comment
