According to Chua, alex cabagnot is very important to SLR and no San Miguel player can cover the spot expected to be left by cabagnot. Alex is a gem to us! Danny Seigle and Dondon Hontiveros are good players but I think Alex is the future of the PBA. Sources said that after the transfer and end of his contract by December, Cabagnot is asking for a maximum pay of 350,000 imposed by the PBA rules and a guaranteed 10 year contract. A sign-in bonus of a luxurious BMW car, an smb warehouse property after consuming 5years of its contract and reasonable cash is also being asked by his manager as part of sweetening the pot. where was Alex Cabagnot when both Dondon and Danny S. were busy dismantling SLR?sabagay... di naman masama mangarap... who does he think he is anyway?!FYI di na pwede long term contracts... the most one can offer is a 3yr deal...tsaka sa talent ni Alex Cabagnot.. jopit Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 It's final!!!!!! Cabagnot going to San Miguel in exchange of Danny Seigle without Dondon Hontiveros. But guess what Dorian Pena and LA Tenorio is included in the deal. According to Chot Reyes, the deal is legit since both party is on a win-win situation. As of this writing, Seigle, Pena and Tenorio is practicing with Sta. Lucia at Lorenzo Gym whiloe Cabagnot is setting his bags for a practice this afternoon at SMB court in Mandaluyong. Alfrancis Chua is so excited to have the 3 stars of SMB but expressed disappointment seeing their future "star" Cabagnot go. Mild Seven Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 can i join? smb fan here also. i hope the trade mentioned above is not true....parang ang labo lang kasi....i don't think smb will seperate with danny seigle (who is the biggest mis match in the pba every time he plays). plus the fact that brandon cablay is still in the injured list, they have racela and they drafted tenorio (pg overload na sila). no offense meant to the poster but i find the above "trade" ridiculous. btw, i hope they use espinas more....aliw din siya panoorin maglaro.
