Mac Users Of Mtc (apple: Go Ahead, Take A Bite!)

Recommended Posts

As an MTC moderator and as a LOYAL Mac User, I do not encourage nor promote the use of PIRATED SOFTWARE.

hey chunky! thanks for the post! the great thing about the mac is that when you buy one, all of the basic software you will need (OS, office... etc...) is already bundled with the backage, di ba? and all legal and original... problema na lang yung mga games... ehehehehehe

It depends. Basic Mac Computer systems rarely come in bundled with image or video editing software, with exception to iLife and iMovie.

Other than that, you have to buy software for it.

hay sana lang mas mura yung mac.

hehehehe... your worries may be over long before your eyebrows could make a twitch. mac already had released mac mini which is less than 40k and an iBook less than 70k. that is a lot like buying its peecee counterparts. what is stakes a premium there is the OS already included in their mini. afterall, it's the intellectual property that could cost us an arm and a leg.

what really appealed me with my iBook is its core programming kernel based on a unix, thus making it snappier and more stable to process apps.

way to go mac purists!!!

yey! a mac user here. not purely on mac tho.

it's lovely isn't it?

Mac Hardware are really eye candies. but dont get me wrong. Macs are excellent machines. since i switched i never wanted to go back to "windoze". :goatee: i do still have a PC on a barebone form factor to play games with but im changing to a Linux OS soon. Do you own a mac?

Hay, tagal na rin akong di nakabista dito sa thread na ito ah...

Advice lang po...

If you're planning to buy any kind of MAC, better buy it here in singapore. A friend of mine found out that the same specs ibook is cheaper here by 20000 pesos.

Budger Airlines is currently available (usual cost is 5,000 PHP two way, promo today is 300 pesos one way) so makakatipid pa din. :).

Word of caution, don't bring the box home kung bibili kasi dadalihin kayo nang tax sa airport natin. Better buy a backpack or bag tapos sabihin nyo you went on a business trip and personal item lang sya.

I disagree clipper...

I just came back from singapore and the imac i am looking at is actually about 15K cheaper in singapore than it is here...

you may have your info backwards...

Keep in mind the Apple Care Plan that goes with the unit. Macs sold here in the philippines usually comes with a 3yr Apple Care Plan. Got one of my Macs for 54K insted of the original price of 62K by asking the reseller for a one year plan insted of the 3 year plan. Let me just say that the 3yr Applecare plan is worth the investment.
