marc.alan
last week i got a focus nemesis casing (will try to post pic next time) cost me 38XX.XX micro atx board lang and kakasya dito, mejo plain, pero its an alternative to shuttle XPCs and i saw one on a pc thread (tipid pc ata) na napa airbrush nya yung transparent panels lft and right sides plus top. also the casing comes with 350 watts PSU and a blue-LED case fan mejo mahirap lang nga makahanap ng better cooling solution for the processor kase masikip sa case, lalu na pag IDE ang HDD mo, get SATA drives if u plan to use this casing Quote Link to comment
cheesekeso2004
How true... speaking of TPC... there's a guy there who mods casings for a living (forgot his handle tho ) I saw one of his mods and think of it this way... ala Fast and the Furious casing :thumbsupsmiley: ... The primary reason why modded casings are cheaper than the 'virgin' ones is that some of them actually have a different thing in mind when modding casings so go figure... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There are 3 peeps that I know of who can mod in TPC Cham_e_lyon ---> Just at the back of SM North Tantric ---> Near Sta. Ana Race Track (ata, forgot e )Jeda ---> Near Nepa-Q Mart Each of them has a their own specialties Cham_e_lyon ---> Basically the all-around guy in modding, he's the best (or should I say the most popular) modder in TPC. I already had him mod several of my cases My only fret about this guy is that sometimes, there are TONS of people having their cases mod at his place, so sometimes, it'll take 1 week for your case to be done (or started, but i think it only happened to me twice ) Tantric ---> His specialty is wire management, and when you say wire management, you'll really say "where's the wires?" Seriously, he was the one who modded my Lian Li (He has a website, check for the purple/glossy Lian Li, that's mine ). I stopped going to his place cuz it's just too far from my place Jeda ---> Specialty? Special projects and watercooling He can make killer side panels (Side panels with design, like a dragon or flame etc), whole case mods (He made a Biostar 6100 fit in a very small casing LOL ), and DIY Watercooling kits (Internal/External) I only asked him to make me 1 mod, and damn, I should say Im very happy with it We're already talking about an 8" LCD Widescreen at the side panel mod (If I can find a decent LCD) He's the one who modded my CM stacker 3 days only (should've been 2 days, postponed for a day because of the MMDA and the road widening project) Anyway, if you really plan to mod the whole case, get a generic case (Nemesis is ok, my only problem is that it's quite hot and needs modding if you plan to put in big hsf's ) and mod it, My Lian Li costed my more than 2k or 3k I think But if you're planning to make a simple mod, you can get those expensive cases Oh yeah, those mods *side panel, blowhole etc* doesn't include any fans, fan grill, ccfl, cables etc, so it'll be another expense for you Quote Link to comment
