with the trend now, maybe less than a month or two. technology is very fast. BTW, i think you will a good Video card, it will cost you around 30K plus. memory instead of Kingston maybe Corsair (paired sets) will be better. Mobo may i suggest Gigabyte or higher models of ASUS or MSI (around 15K). what games do you play?

If I spend a 100k on a new rig, 2 months max lang until hindi na capable ung PC ko to play the new(er) games?? s@%t, ipon ko nalang! I play FPS, some games like Spore, Diablo 3 when it comes out....

etoh dude,

basta intel Quad Core or ung pinaka mabilis n processor s market (s gilmore m ipagtanong...)

(intel kc mas magaling i2 mag handle ng overheating..)

AMD nman mabilis din

(kya lng kelangan radiator n kelangan m dun at blower-exhaust fan combos)

motherboard - asus, msi, or intel nka SATA-RAID at pinaka mabilis n FSB (1.???? GHz or faster)

(preferably ung wla built-in video pra wla masyadong load)

memory - 2pcs 1GB kingston ddr2 800mhz or faster

(kelangan 2 piraso pareho pra dual channel ang takbo nun)

video - ati, nvidia, or any other brand - basta pcie dual-core or triple-core vpu 512mb or 1gb video memory

(pra syang processor mentioned above)

hard disk - 4pcs 80GB (minimum) or 160GB (kung gus2) seagate, samsung o maxtor SATAII (3GB/sec xfer rate)

(pero kelangan nka RAID-0+1 setup yan... parallel data transfer w/ data security)

the rest.....

any dvd-rw drive (samsung, asus, or lg)

ur preferred keyboard and optical mouse

(bili k ng kvm switch 2-port pampahaba ng cables at pwede p 2 cpu control..)

(o kya keyboard and mouse extension cables)

(wireless minsan mahina signal)

card-reader internal o kya external

at ung iba.....

make adjustments s BIOS...

check m configuration of each part n binili m...

check m ung RAID setting ng motherboard...

gawa k ng virtual CD drive for each game n gus2 m install...

install m XP pro SP2 nlang... wag n vista.... pra mas mabilis....

wag m nang install software n hindi m nagagamit....

anti-virus at anti-spyware/malware na maliliit lng gamitin m pra mabilis (wag ung sikat)....

use manual scanning sa anti-virus at anti-spyware/malware pra d bumagal din...

disable lhat ng auto-update feature for all softwares....

at panghuli....

new and upcoming games will run with this config until a few more years...

and after that, uulitin m n nman itong prosesong i2 for newer ones years to come...

ganun talaga....

sna nka tulong...

Gilmore shops, just browse for the best value for your money.

TipidPC.com - though trading here is usually on a personal warranty basis.

When in Gilmore or Virra Mall shops as well as Cyberzone hope you

will also give PcCorner a try... they are very accomodating and their

techs have very good after sales support service... very satisfying din

to buy from them
