Guest RSL_1928
Admit it, you sometimes get the itch to floor the gas pedal when an opportunity presents itself. Whether you drive an unaltered stock model or are into souping up your wheels there's always the innate curiosity to see how far you can set your personal speed best. And get out of the experience alive in the process. Imagine yourself out there in the expressways or on a deserted provincial road. No visible hazards, the concrete or asphalt feels good beneath you, the weather is reasonably clear and your chariot is ready and primed to eat up the kilometers fast. Before you know it the speedometer is climbing, climbing, climbing.....100...120...130...140...150...160...170 and the tachometer is still far from red-lining. Still plenty of clear road ahead. So, how fast have you gone? Where? And with what? What went through you mind?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've driven different kinds of cars, pickups and vans...but these were the most memorable ones i wld like to share...i remember doing 170kmh in a hyundai H100 van...its called ''Grace" also... in south super w/c i think is already its top speed kasi sagad na yung tapak ko...its one of the 1st imported vans we got as a family van and it has a large 2.5 GAS not diesel ok engine...kinda scary cos ako lang nakasakay and vans are prone to turn turtle....next one is another van we got from Pampanga...a Chevy Van...very similar to the ones used as Ambulances but this 1 doesnt have seats at the back...pang delivery yata...anyway...i went 150MPH w/c i think is around 200 + kph sa atin...crazy thing is a Dodge pickup overtook me...its one of those huge double rear tire pickups dat Mel Gibson used in the Lethal weapon 1 and 2...if im not mistaken at least!! it has a V10 turbo diesel engine...haha iniwan ako...i cld have chased it pero hanggang habol na lang ako...kakatakot na eh....last 1 i tried was an Evo 6 and dis was stock and a frend was nice enuf to leave it wid me cos he went to the states for a month...hay sarap! wished i could keep dat damn car...anyway top speed i did was 240 KPH w/c i think cld have gone even faster at skyway problem is malapit na yung tollgate and i have to slow down...i think i took the whole stretch in less dan 5 mins...man dat car could accelerate and hug d road firmly!!!...well dats my experience guys...now i jus drive a Sentra 1.8...150 pa lang pinakamabilis...hehehe....take it easy on the road guys!! dnt ever drink and drive!! peace Quote Link to comment

zipzamzowee
Last May - 180kph on a Gen 2 CRV 4x2 A/T on the North Expressway, with 4 passengers. Was trying to top 180, but my sister woke up June 1999 - 120mph/ 190kph on an Integra, somewhere in Illinois US, with my cousin. Fastest car I've been in was a few weeks after that, my cousin took me for a ride in his 911 and he made 240kph. I almost puked in his car. Quote Link to comment
fordrallyesport
1980's isuzu kb pick-up bagong muffler - 130 kph, 4 speed lang, nahingi pa ng 5th gear eh.. ang taas kasi gear ratios jeep cherokee laredo 92 model - 140 kph.
