The Fastest You've Ever Driven?

LOL. Just twice I pushed my car ('97 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Supercharged, Stock) to the governor... or 159mph or 255 kmh

Being caught doing 120mph (193kph) here (ND) is an automatic 30 days jail time.

My car is just a lowly mid sized sedan... :P

But today she went an impressive 105 MPH ( can sum1 just convert this to kph as i dont know how in this rather secluded stretch of Westheimer Parkway :boo:

And nahh... im no speedster!

Although I got up to 160kph, it was in a 1978 Toyota Corona 4dr sedan. Stock na stock, as in 12R 1600 engine. Headers at mags lang ang iba. This was at the North expressway in 1990's. Not bad for a 12 year old vehicle. I did get to 140 on Roxas Blvd and C-5 mga 2000-01, but I was using a Civic na. I'm now driving a tractor of a SUV, Pajero 3dr. Matanda na ako, like the vehicle, so mabagal na.

Hey! tip lang sa mga manyak na mahilig mag-overspeeding sa NLEX:

the NLEX is now considered a state-of-the-art highway.....so they have cameras installed at strategic locations throughout the stretch. they also have radar guns that can measure your speed at any given point.

the reason why I know this eh kasi yung cuz ni esmi drove there once, naka-Isuzu Crosswind SUVi siya. At the point of Shell Gasoline station in Balagtas, Bulacan, he claimed he was just cruising at 140kph. Tops daw niya was 170kph somewhere before or along the viaduct.

Pag dating niya sa dau exit, he was not allowed to exit until he was escorted by an NLEX patrol dun sa office nila nearby. pinakita sa kanya video ng takbo niya with matching speed annotated underneath.

93 corolla GLi 1.6 M/T - 185kph (Dau to Balintawak 35mins)

anong oras mo ito nagawa?

I regularly drive the whole stretch of NLEX (parents house is in Tarlac, while I live in Muntinlupa)

you can only achieved that top speed once you passed the Shell Station before Tabang and you can not maintained that for so long

It's a saturday night. around 10pm. going back to Manila coming from a friend in Dau. At that time, there is another car (a sentra ex-saloon) that raced against us. From the stop light at Dau its one hell of a ride.

I envied most of you guys as you can floored and reached around 200K, that’s too much for me. My max was around 100 M/H which is around 160 Km/H..that was past midnight while crusing I-94 going to Albertville, MN. Though, I'm pretty sure that i can get more from my baby, but i don't wanna push too hard. My ride, Porsche Cayenne.

Yup. that was way back year 2000. We even timed our trip to baguio then.

Balintawak to Baguio (via kennon;5AM Sunday) : 4.5Hrs (with one stop over around 15mins.)

Baguio to Balintawak (same day; 7PM) : 3.5Hrs (with one 15min stop over)

I was using the same car.
