tonyp
What is the best way to go to Pandanon Island? Quote Link to comment
jlx
oooops sorry forgot to specify. pandanon island is actually in bohol. though i'm not sure how to get there from bohol if there is a way. the way that i know is to hire a pumpboat from the port beside hilton hotel in mactan, cebu. a ferry can be hired for about 3k for the whole day. it's upto you to haggle the price. they tend to charge higher if marami din kayo and a ferry can carry about 20 persons. when i went there walang choice everyone had work but kelangan i-tour ang bisita so 4 lang kami, we were able to haggle the price for 2.5k coz afternoon na rin. seriously it's not that easy to haggle lower coz price is based on gas consumption din. it's approximately about 1hr away from mactan island give or take some. though pede daw magstay o/n dun but it's not really advisable. it will cost u more on the ferry at the same time wala cya lodges for the that. the owners may have built a shelter but not meant for a rest house or the likes. more on day trip and parties lang tlga. you have to bring your own food though cooking will not be a major prob as they have cooktops. jus tmake sure to bring your supplies. think of it as going to hundred islands for a day trip wherein things are still a bit primitive.
