there's this really nice stretch of white sand beach down south. it's in glan, saranggani province. the sand is even finer than those in boracay. you can tell since the water seems "cloudy" a few feet from the shore -- a result of gentle waves causing the sand to mix with the water. i'm sorry i cant post a picture but, take my word for it, this is one hell of a nice beach.

wow. may website ba 'to?

if i'm not mistaken, i think he's referring to the beaches in gumasa -

always one of the contender for world's top 10 dive spots.

i've booked overnight for end-of-the-month getaway.

it's a dumaguete-apo-siquijor 3 day getaway.

beaches in siquijor too are enticing. it's on our 2nd leg of the tour to snorkel there. :thumbsupsmiley:

thanks for the info , pero mahirap ata marating ito by land , pag by plane kaya , direcho dumaguete ba ,

yea, dumaguete as the 'base' . go up to Tanjay/Bais for whale/dolphin watch, go central for valenci waterfalls/mountains, or go down south for zamboanguita, malatapay (jump off to Apo island).

last time i've been to Apo island was way back 2002, it's a small private cove-like beach. all info's are in their website. only place that can rival their underwater sights is the tubathata reef , that is not easily accesible for casual trips. will post new pix after our trip.

good to know you enjoyed Bohol, lotsa non-commercial, private/exclusive beaches there. :)

except for the newest resorts (built 2007-2008), i've been to all of them commercial ones. hehehehehe.

Coron/ Nigantes Island Very nice island.

Many secluded beaches.

Kahit sa Boracay meron. Check out Baling Hai Resort and Hotel

But to the overly adventurous, you could always try out the very pristine waters of Buhanginan Beach, Patikul, Jolo,Sulu. Hehehehe...

Jolo has the best beaches in the country. Too bad its in troubled waters.

i agree with you on that one... been there so many times, covered many events there and that island along with tawi-tawi and basilan has beautiful bitches este beaches that would give boracay a run for their money...

i agree, Panglao in Bohol is still the untouched paradise

hahahaha.

not anymore. I've been there regularly since 93, been to almost all resorts in Panglao, be it an uber exclusive resort or the common AAAs. there's still an untouched paradise in Bohol (beach), but not in Panglao.

nevermind the fact that it consistently placed as top 10 dive spot destination in the world.

The opportunity to be in this heavenly place, non commercial but with all the convenient amenities of a clas A resort.

To be the only couple guest in this private cove is something very few people have experienced.

it will take a lot of logistics and 'tips' to enjoy this island paradise on your own (with your partner), but when all is done, nothing beats the experience. :thumbsupsmiley:
