I make it a practice that we don't share messages. Cellphones remain private even though we share more intimate things like the bed, shower and what-have-you.

tip on the deletions, delete not only the inbox, pati sent messages, and if your phone has a trash bin. delete that one too. delete only the messages u dont want. never never never purge your folders. thats obvious. i miss my nokia 3210. life was much simpler then.

before, i don't read his text messages but after i accidentally read a message from a suppose to be "ex" that lead to a very big fight... i now read his text messages...

I don't. I'm a believer in personal/ private space. Even if I don't have anything to hide, her respect for my private text messages shows her maturity and trust. That's also how I treat her. Bakit mo naman titignan eh hindi nga para sa yo messages right? Unless you'd want to make sure that your guy/ gal is not fooling around? People are not dumb enough to leave messages from those they fool around with on their mobiles, so wag na lang, hehe
