Pacman-Morales part 1 - Pro-morales people believed so much that Morales is a better fighter than Manny, even though Manny survived until the 12th round and displayed the true definition of a no-quitter.. 2. Pacman-Morales Part 2 - Pro-morales cannot believe when Pacman knocked down Morales on the 6th round (correct me if I am wrong) andthey said it's not his weight class... Even Morales admitted saying he was beaten by a better fighter after the fight then a few days later he said he had problems with the weight and he can beat Pacman again on a rematch - BIG LIAR!!! 3. Pacman-Morales Part 3 - Pro-morales believes that Morales made a gallant stand as a fighter even though Pacman knocked him down on the 3rd round... it's just the 3rd round? he QUITTED!!!! if he has the spirit to win then he shouldn't have quitted, hindi naman siya lamog na lamog katulad nung Pac-Morales 2... Pacman stayed up to 12 rounds even if he has a closed eye on Part 1... if Morales was a gallant fighter then why quit on the 3rd round? hindi naman yung ref nag rule out na talo na siya eh, siya mismo ang umayaw - great fighter ba 'yun? 4. Why is Morales so quick to fight Pacman after his last fight with Pacman?He could have the option to delay the fight until next year and really prepare for Pacman and have the fight of his life and then have the right to fight Barrera... His real motive was to fight Barrera at the expense of his expectations to defeat Manny - but he was wrong!!! 5. kung Filipino ka - ano pa ang magiging rason mo na kumampi kay Morales kahit alam mo na mas magaling talaga si Manny sa kanya? think! think! think! dyogalens Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 after the fight... pacquiao and morales met and exchange jacket pa daw... such a great fighter and gentlemen.. kaya nga minsan natatawa ako ... magkasundong-magkasundo yung magkakumpitensya pero yung mga fans nila ang nag-aaway, hehehe. tapos na po ang laban ... wag ng pagtalunan, hehehe! both are not perfect but i must agree that both are gentlemen and true sportsmen. my hats off to both of them ... for me, they are both champions. As for me, i looked at the guy i analyzed his interviews .....his actions..........the reactions of people behind him...his families and my own personal conclusion is that the guy is a SCAM!!! He is over-reacting in his own personification of the "Philippine Hero". Hesays he is fighting for god and the Filipino people but why is he not gunning at the legitimate belts? I remember in one of his interviews wherein he declared that he does not need those belts because you have to pay for those sanction fees pag nagdefend ka ng title.........sayang daw ang pera and these belts are nothing .....the most important thing is that people are watching my fights......moneymaker ang mga laban nya. To me, this is bullshit and a total contradiction of his other declaration that he is fighting for the country ek ek ek...... Dont get me wrong boys...am not asking him to shout on national television that he is after the money!!!!!all im saying is that wag din nyang iproject na lahat ng ito ay para sa bayan. Minimize this "country loving and people loving s@%t". The guy is already a public figure and people are idolizing him (partially because of his own doing) and he must bear that in his stupid mind. A day after winning... he allowed himself to be seen gambling thousands of dollors while drinking beer at the Las Vegas Casino. Pacman ass-kissers would say that he deserves a break and that he is spending his own money etc.etc....... by projecting this image of a "hero" he must learn to be responsible in his actions. Larry Bird's countless children? Muhamnad Ali's super ego? Tyson going bankrupt? it's better for Manny to project this ' for bayan sake ' why? look at Navarette.. or Penalosa? or even Onyok? where are they now.. they have their highs and lows of their careers but where are they now? they have their good side that projected good results for the country and their bad side that brought their careers in ruin.. Manny is the next best thing that could happen to the Philippines.. it's much more better knowing that his boxing greatness cand do good for our country than other people who pretend that they are saints but don't do anything at all... don't overemphasize on the negative thoughts... we all have our dark secrets... your observation is the crab-mentality attitude instead of the patriotic attitude which could have seen the bigger positive picture above all of this.. Because if you have the belt, the WBA, WBC or IBF tells you who to fight, even if that boxer is not exactly the best competition out there. Now, you fight who is considered as good as you or even better than you. As for gambling, after riskingyour body being beaten, HELL, he deserves to have fun. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! Why, did he carry the Philippine flag while playing poker? Did he use our taxes to bet on Blackjack? Unless he said people must emulate him, he can do whatever he wants. By the way, I agree: Manny, don't run for public office... Lumalabas na naman ang crab mentality eh. Moreover, I do understand m-t 's point. He can cheer Erik Morales. I see no problem with that. Ang Tako gawang Pampanga (Nung sumali na sa International Competiton dun lang naging Predator ang Tako ) Yung Boxing kasi hinid ko consider na Sports eh. Ang Boxing "Kainan ng Salita" Isang araw ito sasabihin pag dating ng ibang araw iba na naman sasabihin. Plastikan labanan dito sa Boxing. Ang Naghubog kay Manny eh si Freddie Roach. Hindi naman Pinoy si Freddie Roach. So para sa akin hindi talaga laban ng Pinoy yun. Nambobola lang mga Politico and Channel 2 na pinipilit sabihin na laban ng Pinoy yung kay Manny. Pacman-Morales Part 2 - Pro-morales cannot believe when Pacman knocked down Morales on the 6th round (correct me if I am wrong) andthey said it's not his weight class... Even Morales admitted saying he was beaten by a better fighter after the fight then a few days later he said he had problems with the weight and he can beat Pacman again on a rematch - BIG LIAR!!! 3. Pacman-Morales Part 3 - Pro-morales believes that Morales made a gallant stand as a fighter even though Pacman knocked him down on the 3rd round... it's just the 3rd round? he QUITTED!!!! if he has the spirit to win then he shouldn't have quitted, hindi naman siya lamog na lamog katulad nung Pac-Morales 2... Pacman stayed up to 12 rounds even if he has a closed eye on Part 1... if Morales was a gallant fighter then why quit on the 3rd round? hindi naman yung ref nag rule out na talo na siya eh, siya mismo ang umayaw - great fighter ba 'yun? 4. Why is Morales so quick to fight Pacman after his last fight with Pacman?He could have the option to delay the fight until next year and really prepare for Pacman and have the fight of his life and then have the right to fight Barrera... His real motive was to fight Barrera at the expense of his expectations to defeat Manny - but he was wrong!!! 5. kung Filipino ka - ano pa ang magiging rason mo na kumampi kay Morales kahit alam mo na mas magaling talaga si Manny sa kanya? think! think! think! answers:1) simply because they are pro morales. tayo as pro manny believe that manny is the better fighter among the two. anong kinaiinis mo dun sa paniniwala ng mga pro morales na mas magaling si morales kay manny? hahah.pacquiao displayed heart in the first matchup, but morales is the better fighter that time. period. 2)RASON! excuses. yan ang ayoko sa boxing. yung nagdraw si pacquiao kay jmm, ano rason niya? yung natalo si manny kay morales? ano rason niya? marami di ba? edi dapat kainisan na din si manny? tsk! kesyo problema sa pamilya, marami distractions sa training, yung medyas, nasira ang kamao, the list goes one. admit it. karamihan ng boxers e ginagawa yun pag natalo. thats what you call pride. and manny is also guilty of that. hindi sila marunong tumanggap ng pagkatalo. 3) so you dont consider morales a great and a gallant fighter because he quitted in the third round? o cmon! nanonood ka ba ng mga laban ni morales? i was also surprised when morales decided not to continue the fight. he already knew that he is no match for pacquiao and as an INTELLIGENT FIGHTER, he opted to not go on because he knows that he will just get hurt and for hi to avoid further humiliation. the first fight and this fight is different. the first fight, eventhough manny was bloodied was close. Morales was a great figther and a world champion in 3 different weight classes - an amazing accomplishment in anyones books. Manny is on the way to the top - he'll be a more complete fighter this time. They have put on 3 very different but none the less amazing fights that have held a lot of the world captive - can't ask for anything more from 2 champions. Quote Link to comment
Mandrake Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 There's a looming controversy that may elevate into a full-blown legal battle between TOP RANK (of Bob Arum) and GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS (of Oscar dela Hoya). The sooner this is resolved outside of the court, the better for Pacman. It was reported earlier that Arum is arranging a deal with the camp of WBA superfeartherweight champ Edwin "El Dinamita" Valero for a fight in Macau, although Manny (and most boxing afficionados) would prefer another battle finale with Barrera.
