THUG Posted January 23, 2006 Share Posted January 23, 2006 non of the above, suggestion ko na lang.. for 2006 pacquiao fights easy opponents muna.. malaki din naman kita nya kahit paano.. then 2007 he makes another big fight either Chavez or Barrera.. not Morales (clearly outclased) or not Marquez (does not follow fight contract, very unprofessional) then 2008 if he beats Barrera (or whoever wins between chavez-barrera fight).. he retires na.. he will go in history as boxing legend like Gabriel "Flash" Elorde.. i don't know who Flash Elorde is..my lolo only tells stories.. so for this generation we have a Manny Pacquiao to tell stories to our grandchildren in the future.. Manny should retire by 2008 as speed dwindles down as you reach 30..and the accumulation of punches might take its toll when he gets old.. Quote Link to comment

He also has to improve on his defense and learn when to move in and out and not just attack relentlessly. He has to learn to use his jab more effectively and set up Morales for the k*ll. He cannot solely rely on his punching power or speed, he has to be more strategic and be very patient by taking apart Morales round by round. It will be good if he can knockout Morales (and I'm not sure if he has been floored in his carreer) but if he can't, he will have to work hard for a victory which seemingly would come via a decision. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He boxed (utilizing right and left hooks and delivered many body shots), was patient and used his jab more. Marquez does not want to fight Manny.. nag set na sila ng sked nun..may contract na.. they started training.. pero Marquez gave excuses why mas malaki ang bayad kay Manny..and said he will not fight Manny pag mas maliit ang bayad sa kanya.. since sya daw ang may hawak ng belt.. pero they viewed it as a lame excuse.. very unprofessional.. kaya since the breaks for Manny started with Barrera.. let Manny finish his career off by beating Barrera for the last and closing period of his legendary career..... then he is set for retirement.. as for Morales.. i seriously doubt it that he will go down to 130 lbs again.. Morales is not natural on that weight.. he used to during his younger days..but not now..especially with Manny on that division.. so by 2007 its either Chavez or Barrera.. whoever wins.. but big chances Barrera will win..
