coldfussion
before manny locked horns with el terible before i had a dream that manny will loose by decision...now i had a dream that manny will win via split decision...pero i'm hoping it's not true cause he needs an impressive victory with velasquez...so when manny and el terible lock horns on jan it will be more exciting than the first meeting... butirog
Guys I admit na Maybang siya, Mahilig magshowboat. But we should also be proud of him and all out fellow Filipino, athletes boxers or what ever. He brings honor to our contry and to us.Possibly it is the point of views of others (that they dont like him) but we should be suppportive for him bec. He helps us Filipinosget noticed around the world. That Filipinoes are something NOT Nobodys but something. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
Supra
Kaya ni Manny ito dapat lang huwag nyang patagalin ang laban. Sana lang maging malinis ang laban. Quote Link to comment

He's so friendly, meek and very polite... never been a mayabang.. Dahil nga sa kabaitan nya, niloloko na sya e. Quote Link to comment
bubuy
otherwise you'll end up like Marquez who have 2 World championship belts and yet gets a measly prize money per fight<{POST_SNAPBACK}>update on JMM: he already lost the IBF Featherwight belt outside the ring.. this is due to his handler's inability to schedule a mandatory defense.. WBA might follow suit, soon.. and i agree with his post.. u have to have some kind of marketability in order to get big fights.. that's why even mexicans love pacman, they know he's a warrior inside the ring.. Lian
Yeah, same sentiments here.. masakit sa tenga, pag nagpapaliwanag.. (sa presinto na lang sana magpaliwanag).. Traits na yata ng mga pinoy 'to.. laging may dahilan.. kahit sa election.. walang natatalo.. laging dinaya. People in the sporting business should learn to accept defeat/victory with humility. They should be man enough to admit that they lost. People will love them even more if they do that Quote Link to comment
coldfussion
i agree with you guys...but we still need to support manny cause he's the only bright spot for our so called country today Quote Link to comment
seeker_of_daybreak
as a Filipino, I am very proud of what Manny have achieved in his career. I just hope that he works on his success and not just dwell on it. wag lang cyang maging complacent, ndi pa naman perfect ang laro nya. Quote Link to comment
redax
Hope all the money and power he now has won't satisfy him not to strive to work hard in boxing any more. For the fight this September, he would have trained hard for only around 6 weeks. Quote Link to comment
bubuy
i agree with you guys...but we still need to support manny cause he's the only bright spot for our so called country today<{POST_SNAPBACK}>not because we point out to his deficiencies and rather negative qualities doesnt mean we don't support him.. he has a lot of room for improvement, that is the first thing he should admit to himself.. and i think roach is doing the right things now, closed door workouts.. nobody without official business inside WC Gym is allowed inside.. at least they learned their lesson..
