clitlicker
Mod's Note:Guys, be nice sa newbie. We were newbies before, ayt? Have fun!<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wolf, I wasn't doing anything, bro. Please read my inputs. I categorically agreed with her about Globe in Metro-Manila. Just expressed my own personal opinion on how Globe treats non-"Platinum" subscribers. For the record- I was "nice". :hypocritesmiley: Am not picking a fight. Just clarifying the events! Edited March 14, 2006 by clitlicker Quote Link to comment

Guest BDC0425
even though naka globe ako, I think smart still gives the best service. or is it because of infinity??? :mtc: :mtc: :mtc: :mtc: Quote Link to comment
binoyski71
quick question guys, pwede ba talaga i convert a prepaid number into a post paid plan (globe), diff globe branches give me diff answers eh, including their hotline... technically pwede... ngunit ang pagkakaalam ko ay yung first 3 digits ng cellphone number mo determines whether pre-paid or post-paid ka sa isang telco... naka-experience kasi ako na may makausap sa customer service ng isang telco... nung hiningi yung number ko at narinig yung 1st 3 digits... tinanong agad ako at sinabing hindi daw nila akong pwedeng i-entertain dahil "**-paid" daw ako... so i guess they know at once if you're a pre-paid or post-paid subscriber of their network... :) Quote Link to comment

Yung cellphone number is just assigned to the SIM serial number, so basically you can assign any phone number to the sim serial number. Pero there is a reason why the first 3 numbers determine if you are 'prepaid' or 'postpaid' mode. Mas madali daw kasi sa switching ma-connect sa numbers if the number ranges are similar. Or that's what my friend told me. Sa Globe, may promo on switching from postpaid mode to prepaid mode, then returning to postpaid mode. Quote Link to comment
Gideon
Who gives the best 3G services between Globe n Smart??? Quote Link to comment

lonelyislander76
smart ako.. since i am always out of the country.. smart has the most number of roaming partners.. so when you go out it would be easier to be connected immediately to another network.. Quote Link to comment
Gideon
Available ang video streaming sa Smart You can watch ABS n GMA live on your 3G phone, for free!!! Quote Link to comment
cool_hedonist
I have heard a lot of testimonials that Globe provides the best service....but as a consumer, I am ruled by the size of my pocket.....I am a subscriber of Sun despite its poor service.......their prices for post paid account are the lowest....... ankle
I'm a globe user. Always have been. They give very good service. Smart has very good coverage all over the country, though, better than Globe's. Quote Link to comment

But like Globe, we also have DEADSPOTS, that is why we are trying to make every meter of the country covered. Quote Link to comment
clitlicker
Im using GLOBE since day one but coverage wise not that efficient...SMART has a larger coverage specially outside Metro Manila...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Smart has been proven to be better most specially up north. :thumbsupsmiley: Globe in Metro-Manila. Sigh! The only way we can get the best is to have multiple sim? :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
AcidTrain
look at what globe & smart is doing now with their promos... ang reason nila dati noong naglabas ng circular ang NTC on the "per-second or pulse" billing na mahihirapan sila to implement at baguhin yung system nila... eh bakit ngayon dahil sa pressure from sun cellular... ginawa nila ngayon... plain & simple reason... gusto nila protektuhan ang kanilang malaking kita... :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: kaya mga dudes... kahit ayaw nyo sa sun cellular... magpasalamat tayo dahil sa ginawa nila... na-pressure ang ibang telcos to re-assess their tariff rates... :)<{POST_SNAPBACK}> that is absolutely correct.. why not liking sun cellular? after all, dahil sa kanila eh na-forced talaga ang iba telcos. im sure, dumaan din ang globe at smart nung bago pa sila sa dinadaanan ngayon ng sun.. But the price was planned to be the same with MMS sending. Kailangan pa ng mas detailed rating system para talagang maliwanag. Quote Link to comment
