bluegreen717
The Great Brain series by John D. Fitzgerald. Roald Dahl's works. All of Judy Blume's books for young children, pre-teeners and adolescents. And a coffeetable book on Greek mythology, complete with beautiful charcoal sketches. Forgot the author, 'twas a long time ago. Quote Link to comment

Riot6
I remember that back then I had two favorite books. The first one was a small book about "The Little Red Hen." Yeah, the one with everyone saying "not I" after the Red Hen asked for help at the various stages of planting a seend harveting the grains, milling the grain, then baking the bread or cake...etc. I loved that book and the moral of the story. The other book was one that my father had given me. It was a book about the various heroes of the Philippines. I remember my favorite section was about the life and heroism of Gen. Gregorio del Pilar. The young General and the tragic hero of Tirad Pass. It's so Leonidas and the 300 Spartans at Thermopylea. Quote Link to comment
DomPerignom
I read "The Lord of the Rings" when I was 14. The movies kinda disappointed me. Quote Link to comment
zaizai01
I like reading The Velvetine Rabbit. And those fabled stories in those gradeschool textbooks. Really good when reading them during rainy days... Quote Link to comment
