Very comprehensive ang sharing of information.Lahat tayo dito ayaw magkaroon ng mga alagang STD's in any form.I would like to commend also yung mga GM's natin na talagang nag tanong pa sa mga clinics at syempre yung nag share ng experience nila during their testing. Kudos mag boss,bok at tsong! NOW...Since alam na natin yung kung saan pupunta,kung magkano...Why don't we go a bit further...PUNTA TAYO SA PAANO... Ano gagawin natin kung it turns out that we have been tested positive with HIV? doon na tayo agad sa pinaka malupit na pwedeng makuha. Facts first...Last test ko sa isang clinic sa MAKATI 8 to 9 months ago; Negative of HIV results so tuloy ang ligaya!😀 Let me put a twist... What if my test result were POSITIVE OF HIV? What would I will be doing right now? Sasabihin ko ba sa asawa ko?Paano na buhay ko? Mamatay ba ako?Iiyot pa din ba ako?May life ba after HIV?Kokontakin ko ba si Magic Johnson? LampasPusod Posted July 6 Share Posted July 6 I went to ortigas spa a week ago(fk, bbbj and protected deed). After 2 or 3 days nagkaroon ako ng parang sore throat. So nagpa-test agad ako nung 4th day or 5th. Negative naman sa HIV, syphillis, chlam and gono.. nagpa-gram stain din ako sa throat negative din. Last ko na yun, nakakapraning! minsan na nga lang ako pumunta sa ganun(2 to 3x a year) then may mararamdaman pa. Never again. Pagaling na rin sore throat ko ngayon so baka strep throat lang nakuha ko. Magpapa-test ulit ako after 2 or 3 weeks para sure. Stay safe guys and magpatest agad pag may naramdaman na konti. May incubation period na tinatawag ang bacterial, viral STIs at lalo na HIV. Pwede ring asymptomatic until lalabas nalang bigla sintomas. sa HIV maximum 6 months from last contact pwede pa rin magpositive ang test. Pero with modern testing standards, hindi na po ito kasing tagal ng sinasabi niyo. HIV can be reliably detected with 4th generation ag/ab tests at the 6 week mark for majority of cases.(99%) with extreme cases being at 12 weeks. The window period for accurate and reliable testing has been posted in this thread before. There are also multiple options on how to make future potential exposures safer.(PREP, PEP) No need to spread fear po(it's been proven that this alone doesn't work as prevention), let's just keep each other informed, and encourage "safer" sex along with regular testing.
