Please don't forget to get a follow up test, 4th generation HIV ag/ab tests are 99% reliable at the 6 week mark(post exposure). Most free clinics only use HIV ab tests which are reliable at 3 months.

It depends.. like already mentioned above. However, it's very likely nothing to worry about.. if you're still worried then get tested a month after and consider hpv vaccination. You probably shouldn't be in this hobby if you're worried over a simple HJ, the strain on your mental health is not worth the trade off. Tldr: likely nothing.

not definitively, but urinalysis can give you an indication of a possible infection, like leukocytes, nitrites, or high wbc. CBC can also give you clues if your body is fighting an infection.. but to answer it plainly, yes, only a specific test like CT/NG PCR urine(or similar) can reliably give you an answer whether or not you are infected.(also taking into consideration window period) just to add, urine culture also isn't a 100% reliable method for screening for these types of bacterial infections.

The standard std screening package costs around 2.5k based on my latest test which covers: rpr, tppa, hbsag, anti-hcv, hiv, cbc and urinalysis. If you can afford it, pcr urine ct/ng sana boss which is roughly 5k+ vs the non-pcr which is around half but also less accurate. I think swab is still better especially for females, but for men pcr urine is already good.

Yes, may window period po tayong tinatawag sir. Pero with modern testing standards, hindi na po ito kasing tagal ng sinasabi niyo. HIV can be reliably detected with 4th generation ag/ab tests at the 6 week mark for majority of cases.(99%) with extreme cases being at 12 weeks. The window period for accurate and reliable testing has been posted in this thread before. There are also multiple options on how to make future potential exposures safer.(PREP, PEP) No need to spread fear po(it's been proven that this alone doesn't work as prevention), let's just keep each other informed, and encourage "safer" sex along with regular testing.

Walk in lang boss, pero you can also call them ahead of time to ask if available pa yung test kit sa branch. Minsan kasi nauubusan sila.

That's a good question, try to call their hotline, everytime I have this concern I usually just consult with an ENT aside from Dr. Yang.

Pcr urine tests are highly accurate, but of course I suggest you follow the recommended steps as well.. Don't pee for at least 1-2 hours before the test, do first catch(not midstream), don't overhydrate as well to avoid diluting and at least 2 weeks post exposure to ensure reliability. You can do the swab if you really want to experience that feeling but it's unnecesary for guys, the swab is now more recomended for women due to slightly higher accuracy.

Hi-precision, just choose a branch that's near you. They have ct/ng urine test. I think 2k+ for the regular one, while 5k+ for the pcr version.(more accurate)

PCR urine ct/ng - two weeks at least. Ideally nag Doxypep and HIV PEP ka sana within 72 hours of your unprotected encounter. If you want some form of assurance within a few days, you can try to monitor via regular cbc and urinalysis. It won't give you a definite answer but it could give an indication that your body is fighting an infection by checking for elevated wbc and/or bacteria count. Still best to utilize the specific STI test, do a baseline test(right now), and another for the window period per test.(ct/ng 2 weeks, then hiv/hbsag/rpr/tppa 6 weeks)

Just go for the standard screening package for std, no need for the comprehensive as it also screens for hiv/hepa/syph, it would cost you around half of the compre. Agree, that you can also just opt for the non-pcr urine ct/ng. The consult alone with Dr. Yang is already at 1.5k from my last check with him a while ago. While the full list of antibiotics was indeed around 3k+ (not including pep which is 4-5k)

Yeah it can happen, probably nothing to worry about boss. If you're really worried, you can have it checked by a doctor.

Mahirap yan boss, usually via pm nalang nagshashare ibang gm's.. some by addressing it first sa spa.. and meron din ilang gm na nag name drop which is medyo nuclear option na and should be last resort.. Ang mahirap kasi dyan sobrang daming white knights dito sa site, and karamihan ng theras/spa's won't even address the problem properly and instead sisiraan nalang yung gm.(damay damay din ito, as naexperience kong masiraan all because I gave that gm advice on what test to take and where to go for treatment - nalaman ko nalang later when I was inquiring with another thera from the same spa) I.m.o. Best thing to do pagnapaso is get tested and treated then inform their management and iwas nalang.

Usually super basic lang ang checks sa spa if meron man, I wouldn't rely on them for my peace of mind. If I were you I'd spend money on checkups, testing and possible treatment of your regular.. win-win for both of you. This is already standard practice for some GM's who can afford it and want that peace of mind. Just make sure you communicate your intention in a nice way.

Hard to determine without having it checked by a specialist.. it can be a number of things. If you care for this thera then get her checked by a gynecologist.

Safe from std's? Nowhere is in this industry.. All you can do is risk management. People can get tested.. cured from their bacterial std's.. but the moment they take part in this practice then it's another dice roll.

While technically yes.. may possibility for those.. the actual chances are probably low from a hj.. so it's not something to get overly worried about.. So more of.. proceed with caution.
