  1. Saw a couple of films last weekend.....

SURF'S UP - I like their concept of storytelling thru a reality show program....yun nga lang, parang kulang sa comic.....way way below comparison as against Ratatouille. It was a good film though.

OCEAN'S 13 - Ocean's 11 and 12 were better but the twist in this one is so supercool.....creating a man-made earthquake to knock a security system was just pure brilliance.....medyo dragging lang pero all in all, it was cool movie....San kaya makakakuha nung patch na nakakaseduce the chick

  2. @Wyld - I couldn't agree more..... Ratatouille is simply the best computer animated movie to come out since Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. .....it's that good.....my favorite scene was when the Health inspector came to the restaurant and saw Remy's entire clan.....boy that threw me out of chair laughing  actually there are so many high moments in this movie it would be hard to rank them from highest to lowest.....

    On Topic:

I saw Blind Date last night.....If your looking for comedy this is not it.....the comedy doesnt work for me here....HOWEVER, If you are looking for a drama, this is a good alternative.....though there are dragging parts and poor acting in the movie, you can't help but admire Chris' Pine's performance as the blind virgin guy who fell in love with an Indian woman engaged to be married who undergoes an experimental surgery in the hopes of seeing again.....other than that, its not worth your time.

  3. I've seen Rattatouille last night....It's a really super funny movie.....my brother and I were laughing so hard i almost failed to attend the last mass for the night.....what's more is that this film has a heart......I loved it and I can't wait to buy the DVD......This will go down as my no.2 top animated film of all time after Finding Nemo....The only downside is that it tends to make you believe that rodents are friends and the part where Remy and Linguini operate without Remy being seen is quite "not believable".....other than that.....This is a must-see movie.....Guaranteed to make you laugh.....I know i did.....,

This film is going to get an Oscar......and i don't know about you but Peter O' Toole's performance as the food critic Anton Ego may yet give him another nomination...only this time, he might just win....that scene where he tasted ratatouille has got to be one of the single best moments in animation history.

This is one movie i'm pretty sure i will remember all the main characters even after 10 to 20 years.

    Rating: 4.95/5.00

PS: Read between the lines when watching this film, if you are an art student, you could easily detect paradoxes and perhaps write a lengthy term paper on it.....its that deep.

btw, the animation has got to be best one that has ever been made.

  4. transformers really kicked ass!

action packed talaga, yeah, some of the fight scenes were too fast for the human eyes, but it really rocks, esp. the scene where starscream kicked all those F22's out of the air...

can't wait for the sequel...

IMO that scene will go down as one of most memorable fight scenes in movie history....considering it was a villian who kicked ass.......first time i clapped so hard inside a cinema.

  5. Sex and the City: The Movie

New Line Cinema has decided to jump aboard the film as longtime "Sex and the City" executive producer/director/writer Michael Patrick King will direct from a script he wrote. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all set to reprise their roles as filming aims to get underway this fall. No story details or any other casting have been confirmed.

This is going to be exciting!

  6. swiped from another board

nothing official (and could be just pure heresay), but :

"A Cousin of a GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) has heard in his circle is that Chris Benoit's wife killed their son Daniel, called Chris and told him to rush home because of an emergency which is why he missed last Sunday's Vengeance PPV. Upon arriving home Benoit killed his wife in a rage for the death of his son and then killed himself Monday morning. His wife's body was found in the master bedroom, strangled with the cord from an alarm clock. The son's body was found in his room apparently suffocated with a garbage bag. Chris then wrote a suicide note explaining what had happened, apologized to his family, his other children (from a separate relationship), and his fans. He then fashioned a slip-knot noose from from rope taken from the garage and hung himself from the banister in the foyer of his suburban Atlanta home."

this is just bizzare.....a PR nightmare indeed :(

  7. RIP Idol.....

Im still not completely over Chavo's demise now The Great Chris Benoit.... He is one the few WWE wrestlers I truly respect.... He is the one that i can mostly relate to because he was a short guy like me...and i always admired a man with a few words but with lots of action.....He is the personification of a man with big balls...even if it were just fo sho.....As a big Benoit fan, this is painful for me.....I got a Benoit poster right next to my bed.....now how the hell am I suppose to sleep. :(

I don't think he could k*ll his wife and son.....no i don't want to believe this s@%t....somebody killed them
