Horford is difficult to replace because he is an NBA Swiss knife. He can score from the post or the outside; adept at positional defense; rebound, orchestrate the offense; etc. Kanter will not assuage the loss of Horford. Brad will mix and match the four big men the Cs currently have: Kanter, Time Lord, Theis and Poirier.

What is your basis for saying the Celtics should tank? Kemba Walker got signed which is an indication that the Cs want to remain competitive. If the Cs wanted to tank, they should not have signed Kemba and gave away the two Jays. Tanking is not congruous to what the Cs did or are currently doing this summer.

IMHO Gregs natural position is a 4 but they never worked on that. Always thought hed be a Pau Gasol type with accurate short jumpers and probably a signature post move. He never has gotten quick enough though ands thats where the problem lies.
Greg is a natural center. He is too slow to be a power forward, let alone the range to be a stretch four.

Even if Ninoy was killed under Marcos' watch, somebody else is responsible for Ninoy's death.
Aquino did not lose his life in the hands of Marcos. He lost his life at the hands of an assassin. Logic dictates that if Marcos wanted BS Aquino II killed, he would have done it legally by firing squad.

I don't understand this love affair between Jason Kidd and Laker management. He was a mediocre coach during his Bucks stint. I don't understand why they are forcing Frank Vogel to take him as his assistant. It was also rumored that Ty Lue rejected Lakers' offer because of this arrangement.
I agree. Normally, a head coach would handpick his assistants. This is already a dysfunction.

Regarding Greg, yes, he may have been a disappointment in this series but I wouldn't put the blame on him solely. Basketball is a team game and Ginebra was lethargic in the second half. If Ginebra trades away Gregzilla, who will stop the Kraken when GSM goes against perennial championship contender SMB? We should look at this in the macro perspective(Ginebra in future conferences), not the micro perspective(one series). Ginebra got outplayed, outplayed and outfought in Game 4 and, in this series, Tim was outcoached which is a rarity.

President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday questioned the agrarian reform legacy of Corazon Aquino, the country’s first female leader who belonged to a wealthy and landed family.
Duterte said Aquino exempted Hacienda Luisita, a vast sugar plantation estate once owned by her clan, in Tarlac from the coverage of land distribution which was the centerpiece of her social legislative agenda. The Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law was passed in 1988, two years into Aquino’s six-year term.
“Hindi niya sinali yung kanya. She exempted her [land]. So you call her what, the one who freed, emancipated? It’s an incongruity,” the president said in a speech before land reform beneficiaries in Davao City, a day after the 10th death anniversary of Aquino who succumbed to colon cancer on August 1, 2009.
GMA News Online has sought comment from Aquino's son, former President Benigno Aquino III.
Hacienda Luisita used to occupy 6,435 hectares but over the years, portions of land have been sold to industrial companies.
The stock distribution plan had been in place since 1989 when the Hacienda Luisita Inc. forged an agreement with thousands of farmers to get stocks instead of land.
The issue on land distribution had reached the Supreme Court which decided in November 2011 to give the more than 4,300 hectares of land to farmer beneficiaries.
Duterte said Aquino’s claim to fame was the death of her husband, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., who fell by an assassin’s bullet at the Manila International Airport on August 21, 1983, following a three-year exile in the United States.
Ninoy Aquino's death sparked various protests and catapulted Corazon to the presidency in February 1986 following the ouster of President Ferdinand Marcos in a bloodless People Power revolution.

Duterte has been criticized for his closeness with the Marcos family, the political rival of the Aquinos, even allowing the late dictator to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in 2016.

Even though I am a decent guy and think highly of my self I would not pursue a Thera that I am fond of if she has a bad boy/chick boy in her life. Even though I can be a good provider for her in her heart I will lose. So I dare not compete against that guy. I will just end up looking the fool with less money in my bank account.
You will never know if she has a boytoy on the side. She will never tell you, especially if you're her cash cow. She would want the best of both worlds: a gullible, love-sick guest who is her personal atm and a boytoy whom she screws around with and gives money to. Money which gets from her love-sick guest.

For me, even if she was the twin of Marian Rivera, I still won't spend that much every month to make her quit. I mean you can spend a tenth of that every month to visit your favorite therapist once a week.
Yeah, it all depends on what makes you happy. I can easily justify buying a Voltes V fig for 17-25k; but I cant spend that on a concert ticket. Same with a Thera, 4K is plenty.
Ganun ba kamahal yung die-cast metal na Votes V ngayon? When I was a kid, I was gifted with a die-cast metal Daimos. I think it was five hundred bucks then.

Usually if the GM and the Thera don’t have a good arrangement, meaning she is financially secure, the lure of easy money is going to always be a temptation. I knew one top Thera who a Pilot had wooed and he finally got her to agree that she would “retire” in exchange for 100k support monthly. However she had a sick father so she needed more and was embarrassed to ask. So she did what she knows how to do... boom
The pilot must earn a lot. But there is no way in hell I will give a therapist 100k a month for her to quit. I'd rather use that money for downpayment for a new car or spend it on a vacation in the States.

CBS really had the best intros in all my years of watching the NBA, in my opinion. I wish they had intros like this in the future NBA Finals.
