I hope yheir Orange Chicken tastes like the ones in the US. Though I'm more addicted to their soy chicken and potatoes stir fry.

There are other mom & pop orange chicken places better than Panda's.

But can't wait to try this one out.

Problem with In & Out is it is owned by 2 different family members.

Many local restaurants are trying the In & Out method of never frozen (patties).

But they don't get the actual concept of how its done. That's their failure.

The secret is simple but easily overlooked.

What comes to mind when you see a resto with the name FANTASTIC BAKA ??? I guess naturally one would assume that its all about the BEEF. And moreso if the sign also said PREMIUM BEEF KOREAN GRILL BBQ.

 

Unfortunately, Pork is still their main fare. (5 to 6 kinds I'm told) plus 2 kinds chicken. If you want beef, you'll have to pay extra........... and also unfortunately, there is nothing "premium" about the beef they served.

 

 

I think a more appropriate name would be FANTASTIC PORK.

Gotta get their signature ribs.

Love their tangy spicy sauce.

But its a far cry from the original owner's recipe.

The smokiness is strong but only on the surface.

But nice use of the liquid smoke.

The bone crushed between my fingers easily for having been boiled for so long.

The saving grace was the little fat left.

Once in a whole its still good if you want ribs.

But not outstanding.

Rub ribs seems to follow the same method of cooking but less flavorful.

Plus they left on a part I didn't like.

But its just my preference.

Both are really good. Standard burger at in n out is the double double -- two burger patties and two pieces of cheese.Animal style is a thousand island type sauce and onions that is popular on the burger or on the fries. Sarap.

 

Shack shack standard burger is the shackburger. Its a single burger but the beef is a little bit better quality. Instead of animal style they offer a cheese sauce for your fries.

 

While both are really good, in n out is a bit cheaper so a better value overall.

In & Out is comfort food for Californians.

Even if you're not a burger lover or particular about it.

This is a rather new samgyupsal restaurant. Downside is that there is no steam egg available and their dips are the common dips that you can see in any samgyupsal resto (no garlic mayo). Their lettuce isnt available that evening either. Plus side are the cheese deep and wagyu beef. Side dishes are just common overall 3/10. Not the best samgyupsal ouy there.

I'm so used to just dipping in salt & sesame oil back in my Korean buffet binging days. 😄

Not a fan of the cheese dip so ok lang for me.

Would prefer soy sauce
