  1. The C's remained at 6th in the east with the win over the raptors. Miami seems to have lock the number one spot. Can the C's finish 2nd or 3rd? If not, I wonder if they would want to land as the 4th or the 5th seed assuming they would not end up as the 8th so as to avoid an early showdown with the heat.

welcome back mr fair weather celtic fan ... congrats for the winwink.gif

  2. Another win by the Lakers this time vs the Magic.

The hack a Dwight backfired as D12 was able to convert 16 of 20 FT in the 2nd half after hitting just 5 of 19 during the 1st half.

  3. Olat ang Celtics sa Thunder ... rolleyes.gif The lead of the Knicks over the C's is at 5 games. The interest now shifts to the battle of 3 teams who all have 29 loses in their battle for playoff positioning.

It seems that the top 8 teams have been decided as early as now in the East. The Heat IMHO will secure the top seed based on the way they are playing now and the lead they have over the rest of the teams. As such, I wonder if the C's will intentionally avoid being seeded 4th or 5th so as not to have a potential 2nd round match-up with the Heat. Of course, this is assuming they won't be 8th.

Raptors should have won the game..sayang hehe.

The Raptors had their chance to put the game away in regulation. Kobe was just amazing in leading that comeback.

  5. What a come from behind victory by the Lakers over NO. Down 18 entering the fourth, and by 14 midway of that quarter, the Lakers still manage to win by 6 (108-102) behind a 33 points 4th quarter output and at the same time limiting their opponent to only 9.

  6. You are correct. technically, you are right. But if you remember, east west bank was offered at around 1.2x price to book during its IPO. They also chose to offer it at a big discount, expecting the market to price it correctly by the time it goes to market. But it took some time before the price went up. And PBB is definitely way smaller than East West Bank. So im not entirely sure how the market would react to this. The only light I see in this IPO is that it is offered at a bullish market. If for that reason alone, I think this IPO may fly on the first few days.

hopefully it does ... any OTC deals you've heard of on PBB?

  7. The demand is definitely there. Its 4X oversubscribed. Its valued relatively cheaper. Everyone is so optimistic about this IPO for the year of the snake.

It would most likely see an upside on the first trading day, and can easily reach 40+.

Did I buy? No, I didn't. I'm just not interested in its business model. A thrift bank catering to small and medium enterprises.

They intend to offer the shares at a max pricing of around 41 which would make the stock fairly valued with minimal upside. At 31.50 this should be if I'm not mistaken around 1.4x price to book ... EW is doing close to 2 P/B which means 40 should be attainable if the market will price it that way.

Don't get me wrong, I grew up idolizing Larry and he will always be my favorite player and I think he's way, way better than James overall but I have to give credit where credit is due. James is stronger than Larry.

Strength is only one of the many considerations ....

Why don't you just rate them based on the criteria set and prove Bird is really better. Hindi naman siguro mahirap yun. As it is , your bias is showing
