  1. Hi, newbie here. What are your suggestions to ease into playing tabletop RPGs? I've tried downloading the Pathfinder rulebook or some D&D and it is very overwhelming. I ordered myself a set of Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords because it seems simpler but I'm not sure of how far the gameplay is to traditional pen & paper RPGs.

try finding the box set quickplay versions of both the Pathfinder and D&D systems. those usually come with quickplay rules to ease yourself into the actual RPG. Rise of the Runelords is actually an Adventure Path. an adventure path is basically a long adventure/campaign that stretches for weeks of playing and across multiple levels.

  2. I really don't see the logic in putting a limit on the number of firearms an individual pay possess legally. If ever, this law will only encourage individuals who have reached the limit allowed to acquire and possess the guns illegally.

It doesn't make any sense at all.

resurrecting an old thread. first and foremost, the NEW Firearms Law is to take effect this coming July/August, and there is an on-going amnesty at the moment. the new law actually gives you a License to Own a Firearm, not a Firearms Licene per se. this means you need not get a license every time you get a firearm. there are also different categories in the license (like a driver's license), and depending on which category you apply to, there is a limit to the number of firearms you could get. the lowest, category 1, allows you to get 2 firearms (note, no more one long and one short), all the way to category 6, with 15 firearms. the new law also limits all firearms to SEMI-AUTO only. in other words, you could get an AK, but only the semi-auto version.

  3. do any of you guys know where i could get a set of dragon dice? in other words, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20? i do have a single set right now, and several random generators in my CPs, but i wish i could have a back-up.

  4. i just want to ask what are the risks and if it's advisable to remove the ovaries. my mother went to three doctors, they found out that there's a cyst on her ovary. thankfully the cyst is benign. all three doctors are saying that it would be better if they remove her ovaries as well to prevent cysts development. i really need your advice regarding this. i'm scared about the risks. do you think it is advisable to remove also her ovaries versus taking out just the cyst? hope you guys can help me on this. please. thank you very much

we need to know how old is your mom

  5. Pwede kaya gamitin sa firing ang glock 19? Meron kayang dapat baguhin?

huh? it's a pistol, right? and you are buying it to shoot, di ba? any pistol could- and should!- be brought to the range. if you plan to use reloads on a glock, be sure to get FMJ reloads

  6. @ chippyboy, junix- kahit rank and file pulis nabubuysit! as an example (and mind you, my NUP rank is higher than most cops), i just underwent a psych exam, Intel clearance, and drug test at the start of the year for my job as a Medico-Legal Officer, and now i still have to do everything all over again for my PTC renewal!! even while they have all my records on file anyway!!! i know most cops are planning not to renew their personal firearms, and that says a lot about the implementation of this law. sayang pa naman as it would, Should!, make our lives easier dapat.

  7. Oo nga chief. I noticed that too :) is this in the market?...and if so what store distributes it?
