Yap, Sex in Phil.Cinema is available DVD format but batched together as part 1 to 5. Di ko nakita yung clip nina Diaz and Estregan.

Gotta check this out....truly hilarious ung Diaz-Estregan tag team...would u know if the husband and wife team of Scarlet Revilla and Ricky (Balisong) Rogers are also in the collection (b & w nga lang). :goatee:

  3. Namatay daw sa AIDS si George Estregan, is this true? sobra daw manyak nung buhay eh... not sure if this is true though

no official news on that...there was this joke going around na "cancer of the tounge" daw :upside:

Kasama pala si Isabel Lopez dun? Wonder kung sino may copy pa ng "Hubo sa Dilim" which was shown sa MIFF at Film Center early 80s. : - )

May napanood ako years ago pa sa VHS--"Sex in Phil. Cinema" which was basically a collection of sex clips from the 70s Bomba genre up to the early 80s. Would you know if this is already available in DVD format in Quiapo or elsewhere? That colllection included the classic rape scene of Ma. Isabel Lopez by a horde of salivating and hungry menyaks.

But what was really amusing and comedic was that clip showing Romy Diaz and George Estregan taking turns nailing some starlet in the 70s. :upside:

Thanks.......have nuon before our house burned down late 90s. But I have this powerpoint presentation of old metro manila kaya lang di ko alam kung saan ko i upload.

Off-topic....you can visit my main gallery at: http://abbeymanila.multiply.com

    :hypocritesmiley:

i loved the lingerie section.. :thumbsupsmiley: in the early 70s we did not see that kind women's underwear, but in '79 the Girard Peter Models changed all that. :upside:

btw, any relation to Carlos Salazar--also a matinee idol of the 60s and 70s?

Gen. Ver was also called "CS" (Chief of Staff) among his peers...many still say he personally

pulled the trigger that did then Rep. Floro Crisologo (Bingbong's old man & Chavit's uncle)

inside a cathedral in Vigan in 1970 ( i think).

  7. Just watched this morning 'BOURNE ULTIMATUM' (Matt Damon)...

As expected another blockbuster hit that delivers the thrills Director Paul Greengrass masterfully has brought to the screen. I was just awed by the pacing and drama of the chase scenes by foot, by motorbike, and by car that are as powerful as the close-quarter mano-a-mano fight scenes between Bourne (whose true identity has now been revealed as David Webb) and CIA assets like him out to rub him.

But other than the intense action scenes, what is quite remarkable is how Bourne again goes into a cold-blooded killer mode when faced with danger, but remains genuinely humane and in control of his senses when he gets the upper hand in subduing his enemies. I liked the ending.

    Expect another Bourne 4! :thumbsupsmiley:

  8. kummander toothpick..........Feliciano Luces

Ilagas (rats) mostly made up of ilonggos hence the monicker for ILAGAS..Ilonggo Land Grabbers Association. Their muslims counterparts are called BARRACUDAS in Lanao and BLACKSHIRTS along Cotabato provinces corridors

Pres.Marcos was accused of using them to sow terror and intimidation on the muslim communities.

Very dangerous times then in Mindanao...I remember being in Cotabato City for the first time in 76. Para kang nasa Dodge City where you see gunslinging men in cowboy hats brandinshing their Colts and baby armalites in public. Some rode horses, but most rode in Toyota Land Cruisers. Ang daming siga!

  9. =======================================================================and I also heard then, but, correct me if am wrong, around late 60s ata yun, si TOOTHPICK? Sino ba yun?=======================================================================and

Actually, according to Crime Reporter Gus Abelgas, it was in 1972 when Waway (aka Leonardo delos Reyes) surrendered to Batuigas during a hostage situation in Marikina involving a mother and her 5 kids. By Dec. 1977, Waway met his faith in a hail of bullets from cops gigil na gigil siyang itumba.

If i'm not mistaken the notorious Kumander Toothpick was the leader of a paramilitary group of Christian Ilagas operating in MIndanao in the 70s.

The last broadcast of the late Paeng Yabut before he was shot I heard was at 6pm. Dont know the date. He was discussing about how short the skirts the women during those time wore. He survived the assassination attempt. Bakit nga ba daw siya binaril?

i believe he survived 2 assasination attempts d last one ws splashed all over the papers. everybody thought he was a goner until he recovered with his face contoured from the bullet wounds...he died of a heart attack sometime in the late 90s.

another feisty journalist-commentator who also survived various attempts vs. his life was RUTHER BATUIGAS. Astig din ang kamoteng ito...esp. when he succesfully negotiated for the surrender of the dreaded serial killer Waway. :headsetsmiley:

He was a nationalistic freak. There was this proposal of his na palitan ang mga bus and jeepneys ng "karitela bus" para daw walang pollution. Yung dumi ng kabayo puwede daw kunin pang fertilizer. Prophetic comments.

Was banned by Marcos at the onset of Martial Law, kasabayan ni Paeng Yabut (ilang beses niratrat, ngiwi na ang bibig...buhay pa rin.) :upside:

Villegas - a poor man from Tondo daw then when he became mayor biglang natira sa Forbes Park!

It was rumored then that he was either a pedophile or a gay.

The fiesty Labor Leader, Roberto Oca, during his campaign for the Manila mayoralty vs. Villegas challenged the incumbent at a fist fight at Plaza Miranda mano-a-mano. Villegas laughed at ang ignored Oca who eventually lost the election. :upside:

  13. After Arsenio (aka "Arsenic") Lacson, was it Antonio (Yeba) Villegas who took over as Manila Mayor? I recall his Yeba 1 and Yeba 2 fire-fighting boats docked at Pasig River right at the back of what was once PLDT bldg. in Intramuros. Dumi ng Maynila during his reign as Mayor.

  14. ============================================================

There was this rumor then that Pilar Pilapil got afflicted with STD from a black man. Daming versions pa what form of STD and how she was being treated :upside:
