  1.

Compare natin now.

in fairness kay Pnoy, nagkaroon ng 24 hour shifting ng prosecutors at PAO sa NAIA during that time.

  3. 'Worst airport' no more? What changed in NAIA in first 100 days

    http://www.rappler.com/newsbreak/iq/148958-naia-airport-improvement-100-days?utm_content=buffer2586c&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer

    Positive feedback

Among netizens, the common sentiment was happy surprise. They reported a smooth and fast experience throughout the entire process: from landing at the airport, to retrieving their bags, even to getting a ride home.

"The place no longer reeked of 'den of thieves.' No one was making parinig about lagay(comments about bribes) nor did I feel that I was prey in a lion's lair about to be eaten up alive," wrote Lorraine Badoy in a Facebook post.

    Less delays

But for some netizens, the biggest change in the airport came in the form of flights that departed and arrived on time. It's a big challenge for NAIA, which sees hundreds of thousands of passengers every month in each of its 4 terminals.

According to the airlines, they used to average 40% on-time performance on domestic flights. But Monreal said that since implementing various measures to address congestion at the airport, it went up to almost 80% on-time performance.

most of the changes came from the former administration

but there are policy changes in this new one which did help the improvement of naia

prove that this is the REAL intention

    so much for a conclusion

    do you read the news?

  4. I do not think the EJK per se is the cause of foreign investor apprehension. It is more likely the off-shoot of President Duterte's OA defense of EJK in the country, to the point of insulting and threatening to cut ties with Western powers. I believe the War on Drugs and EJK could have been conducted with less international scrutiny had Big Mouth Digong focused less on his hurt ego. Instead, his headline-grabbing rants invited more international scrutiny of his War on Drugs. Now, instead of the Drug Problem, he has successfully exacerbated the problem to include the nation's security and economic future.

Instead of a well-planned approach to our security and economic concerns, the Duterte cabinet is forced to react to Digong's abrupt policy decisions. Tapos pabago-bago pa yung sinasabi ni lolo. Tsk.

Putting the blame solely on the country's deficient infrastructure for foreign investor apprehension, given that we all live here in the Philippines, is to put blinders on what has just happened in the last 100 days of the Duterte Presidency regarding our relations with other countries. The past administrations suffered the same problem of infrastructure deficiencies yet managed to attract investments and grow the economy.

duterte is only running his mouth against the western powers.... why? because he has to please china.... he does not want to be a lapdog of US and the west,.... but is willing to be the bitch of china.

US and the west is reacting by giving him more bad publicity. they are the real enemy of this government, the yellows are just on the sideline waiting for the opportunity for them to grab to get back in power.

will duterte last long? is his kiss china's ass policy good for us?

wait and see na lang tayo.

Feeling rock star kasi amg pangulo tuwing nagmumura ...

as if hindi diplomatiko ang isang presidente...... LOL!!!!

  6.

    fair enough.

but how about the other two? cause the news says "3 businessmen" (Barcelon and Dee)

    GMA boys?

I really don't get it why would EJK affect foreign businessmen in investing in our country. Unless they plan to make a shabu lab. The admin plans to minimize red tape and speed up all the processing of govt. permits which foreign ivestors will benefits the most.

businessmen are more worried about the international or foreign policies more than the EJK

Digong's EJK is his holocaust of the poor.....

  7.

Businessmen head to Palace to defend Duterte admin

    http://www.rappler.com/nation/148282-businessmen-defend-duterte-administration?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=referral

For two straight days, businessmen came to Malacañang to defend President Rodrigo Duterte, who continues to be criticized for his tirades against the United States and European Union.

Three businessmen, who also lead influential business groups and associations in the Philippines, were invited to speak about their thoughts on the Duterte administration during Palace press briefings on Tuesday, October 4, and Wednesday, October 5.

Private businessmen are not usually invited to these briefings. Usual guests are Cabinet secretaries or government agency heads.

On Tuesday, the guests were Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) president George Barcelon and Employers' Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) president Donald Dee.

On Wednesday, the guest was Australian businessman Peter Wallace of the Peter Wallace Business Forum.

Dee told reporters that the perceived close ties of two countries don't necessarily mean more investments.

During previous administrations perceived to be closer to the US than the Duterte administration, US investments in the Philippines did not grow significantly, he said.

"Here's 3 administrations, two of which were close to the Americans and one was very close, so you would expect that, you know, during the time that the very close administration was in place that there would be a big spike, right? Well, it's not. You look at our FDIs (foreign direct investments), it's flat – $7 billion. You look at it, it's flat, almost flat – $7 billion to 7.7 billion," said Dee.

He said what matters to foreign investors is how "friendly" the Philippine economy is to investors, something the Duterte administration is working on in several areas.

Barcelon also pointed out some gains in streamlining business-related government processes under the Duterte presidency.

"We've seen the reduction on bureaucracy in some of the government agencies. And even the local governments have [taken] the advice of the President to simplify the procedures to help the small businesses," he said.

peter wallace is a naturalized filipino. we went through a special naturalization process via congress.... and the sponsor is.... KOKO PIMENTEL.

now you know why loyal faithful ni duterte sya.

ah.... dahil mahihirap sila, waste of time, ganun ba?

At ayan nanaman, Trillanes nanaman.

i stick to the issues, not to the personalities involved.

O maganda yan! Siguro pag nagtagumpya military dictator mamumuno satin, militarized state ang pilipinas. Yahoo! Bawal rally rally!

    mismo.

dont tell me may bromance na kayo ni jopoc ngayon? di ba fan kita? sumasagot ka nga for my pleasure eh.  :P

    personal attack ka nanaman.

    stick to the issue.

i have handled senate inquiries before... mga clients ko nga may mataas na pinag-aralan, and after the inquiry, makikita mo na mentally at emotionally exhausted sila. what more if the likes of matobato ang isalang mo,

    what more si matobato?

credible sya, pero yung testimony nya, kulang to convict digong. more evidence needed. naintindihan mo yun?

  13.

    i want to hear your opinion as a lawyer pagdating ke matobato. Kumbaga, in the eyes of an expert on the matter;

    1. will his statements merits/deserves a judicial endorsement?

    2. how strong/weak are his testimonies, judicial wise?

    3. how to properly use these accusations to file a counter case to the yellow conspirators?

    4. if you were to be his lawyer, malakas ba talaga kaso o hindi credible yung witness talaga?

andami kasing nagpapaka abogado dito sa thread eh, di dito tayo sa totoo.

    1. anong judicial endorsement?

    2. strong yan to a certain extent kasi wala naman maipakitang motive against him to speak against digong.

    3. prove the existence of the yellow conspirators first. wag puro meme ang basehan.

    4. credible sya kasi wala ngang established motive for him to say something against du30

  14. Congrats and Good Job Sec. Tugade

Gov't: Fewer flight delays due to stricter rules, 'common sense' approach

    http://www.rappler.com/business/industries/171-aviation-tourism/146190-naia-fewer-flight-delays-transportation-department-miaa?utm_content=bufferab5e8&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Wednesday, September 14, reported a decline in the number of flight delays due to the imposition of "stricter" guidelines.

Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Eddie Monreal said the number has been "reduced tremendously."

"I am monitoring daily movement every 3 hours, it was reduced tremendously. Minimum is about 5 to 6 delayed arrivals and very minimal in terms of departure," Monreal reported during the Senate hearing on the proposed 2017 budget of the DOTr.

"There were even two airlines that made a comment that their on-time performance has dramatically improved, now hitting 80%," Monreal added.

Senate President Pro-Tempore Franklin Drilon congratulated the agency and expressed hope this would happen regularly.

Monreal said "discipline" among airlines has been the solution to the long-standing problem of air traffic congestion. Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, for his part, attributed it to their "common sense approach."

i dont think this is true.....

for the past 3 weeks i have flights...and all of my flights are all delayed. the shortest delay is 1 hour, the longest being 4 hours.

    nag biogesic ako. LOL

What could be the response of his economic team after the fall of stock market values.

They should do something before its too late.

The unemployment rate will be high again if the negative trends continues, that's for sure.

When it comes in issue with China..sa tingin ko he is doing a chess game kc alam nya na hindi nya kaya labanan ang China and he see's na di naman talaga tayo tutulungan ng US kapag inatake tayo..pano gagawin natin? right now I like he's move na magbibigay ang China ng rehabilitation facility for the 3M drug dependents, a bullet train and cargo both Air and Hi-way in Mindanao connected in ASEAN region plus a right for our fisherman to sail in 100 miles in Panabo.. after all wala tayo magagawa for now.... Paglumaban tayo sa China.. start of WW3 yan kc makikisawsaw ang US at Russia.. tayo lang makakawawa dito sa pinas..

Last point, gusto ko yung nag rereach out tayo sa russia and to buy a high military/navy equipment

    so then explain this?

Tahimik ata sila a.

other countries put politics aside in things like this and stick together, but it seems, not pinoys!

This is addressed to Jopoc and to the members here who are also members of the Yellow Army:

IF you were in Duterte's shoes, as in you were president and you have a country with a drug problem and a terrorist attack, what would you do....please post your reply in the If you were president thread....para wag naman nega lang, and constructive ideas naman.

no, i do not plan to be a president.
