There's this really nice shawarma stand inside NPC village in Tandang Sora where I live. It's along Binga street called Rap Rap Beef Beef. The shawarma is really delicious and very affordable at only 25 Php. Sobrang patok yung place nagbubukas ng around 12 noon hanggang madaling araw may mga kumakain pa din. Usually bikers and taxi drivers out for a lil midnight snack.

No diss taken brother. :thumbsupsmiley: and yah i do see your point MMA is still young compared to other sports (and still trying to establish itself on the mainstream) and this incident only gives its detractors more ammo against it.

We all do hope the damage done to the image of MMA as a sport (and Rampage's career in particular) is minimal at best.

Back when I was younger yah a couple of times. Was young,hopelessly romantic and kinda naive back then. Pero ngayon. no way. mas madali nakong kausap at mas practical na ako. Kung ayaw eh di ayaw. Mas tanggap ko na ngayon that some things are really not meant to be.

The 2nd leg of the Phil Submission Sport League (the TUF-IFL ish league by the people behing Fearless and the Pinoy Top Team) will be held on August 9th. Venue to be announced. Will keep you guys posted.

From a marketing standpoint I actually think it just further enhances his badboy/ghetto image and may actually increase fans interest and translate into increased ticket sales for his upcoming fights. On the other side of the equation it hurts MMA as a sport, having possbily tarnished the reputation of MMA practitioners in general as being violent, rebellious and with an appetite for destruction.

Despite this incident Rampage is still Rampage and will still draw fans. In my opinion apart from Bas Rutten nobody does quite talk the talk like a Quinton Jackson add to that his penchant for exciting,"match-changing" body slams and KO power.

apparently he fled from the scene of an accident IN A TRUCK WITH HIS PICTURE ON IT, and led police on a chase around town.
