  1. I agree ms MA... the things that sets these men (the ones i mentioned) apart are two words CHARISMA & BREEDING.....thats their competitive advantage :)

     

     

    The Evolution has never impressed me.  I think it exists primarily to embody the glitz and glamour of WWE...according to Flair's dictionary.  The bejewelled robe, the parties, the ladies, etc.  I'm actually glad that Orton has bolted the group.  At least now he's getting people to notice him as Orton...not as a spineless punk who used to roll with the Evolution. 

     

    I guess, the "Attitude" that the Superstars of old exude is innate.  Or maybe taught, but even so, these entertainers must be real damn good students to make it all seem natural.  The ones that you named are not only skilled wrestlers, they all have pretty good mic skills.  They give good promos and they sure as hell entertain people with their words as much as they do with their high-flying, jaw-dropping in-ring prowess.  And sadly, that's something that's sorely lacking in the new breed of so-called superstars.

  2. ever since the stars of the former WWF, ECW and WCW were pooled together for WWE...i have lost interest in pro wrestling...the Glory days of pro wrestling were in the era of Hulk Hogan-Bret Hart-Undertaker-Shawn Michaels-Stone Cold-The Rock-Benoit :D ....i omitted the HHH's & Evolution's era...its a farce :angry: and full of crap ...gone are the days of the great "Attitude" & "Raw is War" periods

I was part of a Change Management adhoc commitee for a client that ive worked with (Call Center)...as a 3rd party consultant, i have to be "neutral" even if these foreign call center execs deserve a kicking in the butt...there are a lot of issues with regards to the principals' (Foreign Manteam) policies in hiring & firing...a lot of agents' rights are being stepped on..including benefits..."sindakan" lang talaga...

     

    major issues include the "immediate" firing of employees without documented "evidence" or affidavits..some call center execs fire agents based on pure hearsay

     

    this is just one..there are a lot of agents out there that are helpless coz call centers are just new in the country...the small call centers dont even have a clear cut policy on HR issues

     

     

    Yes, please discuss the alleged HR violations in call centers, to enlighten us. I'm new to the call center, so it would help to know what are those and how we could also assert our rights.

    if you plan your career in the way you want it to...then thats it...

    if your happy with what industry you are and the pay is "well then enough" then its ok...

     

    people have needs of self actualization on top of the basic money & things needs...

     

    if you are contented with clerical work, with low pay..then its time to reinvent yourself to move up the ladder

     

    if you think high pay with less work is enough...the options are there, shift careers, study, look at other "lucrative" jobs outside your present industry

     

    if you want higher pay with number crunching, negotiations, and sheer talent and hard work....use your skills, talent, training and luck..hehehe

     

    it is really up to you...it really depends on the skill set you possess and your goal (money? perks? position? recognition? job security?)

     

    all jobs has its trade-offs...being in a call center does have great financial rewards...but it has its share of negatives in other areas....

  6. i think the benefits, rewards or perks of this industry apply only to "agents" or people directly related to the business outsourcing process (ops mgrs, facilities mgrs, TLs, Program managers etc)....

     

    what about the support groups? accounting & finance, HR, procurement people, administration, logistics?

     

    do the people in these departments in a call center get the same compensation as you guys get? i doubt it.... :D

     

    eg...accountants in an mfg MNC average 25-40 K...procurement people in semicon get 35K-60 K...etc, HR assistants in headhunters get better than their industry counterparts...
