Approved na ba ang trade na 'to? Ok 'to if ever, kahit 'di ganoon kataas si Maierhofer 'yung energy na dala n'ya is more then enough at 'di din s'ya takot to mixed it up inside to get those rebounds kaya ayos 'to if ever, I'm not familiar with Maliksi, ano ba ang posisyon n'ya?
about MALIKSI, he's a 6'3 or 6"4 high leaper wingman... the former d-league MVP. magaling itong player, as far as his 1st few games shows. kaso lang nagkaroon ng minor injury. i think siya ang top scorer sa team nung 1st game nila against petron.
i don't think hindi mataas si Maierhoffer... he's about the same height as PINGRIS (6'5), great wingspan, high leaper, defensive minded player. though, galing din sa injury. still, i think he's way better than yancy.

Well, it depends. Sino sino ba ang potential draftees next season?
mga almost sure na papasok sa draft sina hodge and ellis who will both suit up for the sinag pilipinas. calvin abueva, junmar fajardo, aldrich ramos.. then probably greg slaughter will also suit up for the team unless smart gilas will recruit him for another 3 years.

IMHO, hindi pa siguro ganun ka-ready as a big man si Kramer during the time na nasa Ginebra sya, competing with the likes of Menk, Wilson, Hatfield and Mamaril at the time. Ngayon kasi, mas limited ang go to guys ni coach Perasol compared to BGK, kaya mas diverse ang rotation nila, compared sa core ng BGK na has been fixed for quite some time.
Anywho, anyo9ne got any idea kung matutuloy ang trade rumors between Petron and BGK?
hindi pa matutuloy sa ngayon yung trade dahil nag back out yung possible conduit teams...
PLAN A: PETRON-BARAKO-BGK.. hindi natuloy dahil nagkasunud sunod panalo ng barako. and as long as the team is winning, wag na muna umasa matuloy ang trade involving barako.
PLAN B: BGK-ALASKA-BMEG... hindi rin natuloy as alaska backs out dahil ayaw nila yung binibigay ng bgk na kapalit.

yancy de ocampo? kung siya rin lang, mas mabuti nang si mick pennissi... ranidel stands only 6'5.. and yancy is 6'8...
para sa akin, malabo si arwind... magaling nga siya sa PBA, pero tignan niyo nangyari nung kay coach yeng led Phil. team.. hindi siya nakaporma sa mga 6'9-6'10 na kalaban. masyado naman siya mabagal for 2 or 3 spot.
then, lassiter ok naman pinakita niya last time.. kaya pwede parin siya consider. i think norwood's perimeter and 3-point shooting is below average considering diyan tayo dapat malakas.
hindi uubra ung mga lay-up ni cabagnot sa international lalo na malalaki mga nandun.
but, this is just my opinion.. peace!

Norman Black to Talk ‘N Text, Chot Reyes to Smart Gilas five?
Norman Black is set to make a return to the Philippine Basketball Association as a coaching rigodon is expected to be formalized this month involving teams bankrolled by business tycoon-sportsman Manny V. Pangilinan.
The arrangement will include coach Chot Reyes moving over to the Smart Gilas national team from Talk ‘N Text in the PBA.
Black will move to the Talk ‘N Text camp while Reyes will replace Serbian Rajko Toroman, who was offered the consultant’s post at Smart Gilas after serving as its head coach.

“Toroman is doing a great job, so I don’t think replacing him would be a good idea,” said Cone, whose Centennial Team is the last Philippine basketball team to medal in a high-level regional competition after finishing third in the 1998 Asian Games.
“We should give Toroman another chance,” Uichico said. “His style is tailor-made for the international competition.”
“Sayang naman kung mababago yung programa. Ginastusan na rin nila eh,” said the PBA’s legendary Triggerman. “If you get a new coach, it will be a new system, so dapat si Rajko na rin.”
One of the significant things coach Rajko brought to the program is discipline,” said Abanilla, who now assists Ato Agustin on the Petron bench. “You don’t see the players doing it on their own, but they’ve embraced the coach’s system and a coach would be happy to see that win or lose.”
Guiao, meanwhile, isn’t as impressed by his former deputy.
“Malaki ang advantage ni Rajko because he has rich experience in international basketball,” he said. “But he didn’t bring anything new because we’ve already seen before the things he had been doing for the SMART-Gilas team.
“So, who’s the right coach to handle the national team in the next two years? It could be anybody. It could be Toroman or it could be another coach.”

kahapon, nagkaroon ng tune up game ang PETRON at BGK.. sans ILDEFONSO, AL HUSSAINI, YEO, still PETRON won 112-91.
