for the fans, like me, who are wondering why the team replaced chris alexander.. well, here's a statement from chris to somehow shed light on the issue..

i think first and foremost even in phoenix coack mike aint really that good with handling players ego and thier attitude. he just let them slide and like kids even with mistakes especially those cost him the game he doesnt take action.

 

imagine if he was controlling the team would the matrix be spoiled like that, i mean the matrix only got better teaming up with nash. if im not mistaken when nash havent arrive matrix ft% were just around 60-70+ % his numbers were good but it only exploded and got better with nash. another player that i feel wasted his talent is boris diaw.

 

but overall this are super stars, still they should be held accountable you dont shoot 20-30 shots a night and only make 40% or less of them and expect to still play like it doesnt matter.

i don't think Paul Lee is over rated... rookie palang siya, and consistent naman siya sa pagbibigay ng good numbers sa series against POWERADE (even sa whole conference).. i think Gabe Norwood is the overrated player inside the ROS roster, while Jeff Chan is the underrated one.

Si Lakay Ildefonso. He should retire na and give the chance to other younger more competitive players. Natalo tuloy ang Petron dahil kay Lakay!

Ginebra was actually looking at 3 other imports - Earl Baron, Dwayne Jones and Melvin Ely. Finally,coaches decided based on best chemistry.

I'm glad Kings fans appreciate that mgmt considered very good imports for Ginebra. My personal choice is Ely. But let's see. Melvin Ely is 33. Very experienced 9yr NBA vet. Played for US Team also.
