Anyway, so as not to be off-topic, I've been having bloody mucus whenever I blow my nose and once I think I coughed it out as well. This was around last week but seems to have died down now. Should I be bothered by this and consult a doctor?

well you can consult an ENT specialist near you just to be sure (for your peace of mind).... or you can wait till the symptom (nosebleed) recur....that will be all up to you.... :thumbsupsmiley:

you can see an orthopedic surgeon or maybe a neurologist, just call maxicare for a list of accredited orhto or neuro doctors in your area.

dermatologist - skin specialist yan mga yan.... not only face but the entire skin, including std related diseases..... just make sure dermatologist and not cosmetologist ang pupuntahan mo.... i agree with @justiin 13, u can also go to urologist....

I've been seeing a lot of patient with allergic rhinitis for the past 11 years(obvious ba ENT ako eh) , take any anti-allergy meds religiously (claritin,zyrtec) any brand will do whether it be generic or branded. better yet, consult the nearest ENT-head & Neck Surgeon in your area....you might need a dose of steriod (oral or nasal). Smoke,dust,cold/hot air,feathers,furs and a lot of other allergen might trigger an attack.

Also, swelling (kamatis) is part of the healing process and should subside in a day or two. Have to clean it daily, apply antibiotic ointment, sterile gauze. :thumbsupsmiley:

I hope you have all of your xrays para ma-compare sila doon sa pinaka-recent na pinagawa mo. I am pretty sure mabibigyan ka ng clearance pag nakita na wala ka namang mga senyales ng TB, walang progression yung lesions sa xray and walang significant findings sa ibang mga examinations mo.

yup, ang pinaka-importante un unang x-ray....para sa comparison...pag may doubt sila...AFB sputum test.... at asahan mo lagi na ganyan ang mangyayari everytime na magpa-PE or medical exam ka..
