COA chair: We didn't say PS-DBM procurement of COVID-19 supplies was 'overpriced' | GMA News Online (gmanetwork.com)

The Commission on Audit (COA) did not say that last year's purchase of COVID-19 supplies by the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) was "overpriced," its chairman told a House inquiry on Wednesday.

"Wala po sa COA report ng PS-DBM ang statement na may overpricing po, there’s no statement to that. The observations relate more to inventory management than overpricing," Michael Aguinaldo said.

He already is. Inutil in every sense of the word. (Although Marcos is a close second).

I don't really agree especially with FEM.  The Aquino's can't even bring justice to Ninoy's death.  I'm sure even tk here would not agree that he is inutil. Maybe corrupt or evil but not inutil

Duterte: A tyrant or a riddle? – Daily Tribune

This late into his presidency, Rodrigo Roa Duterte remains an enigma.

He is such a mysterious puzzle to everyone, including an opposition who seemingly doesn’t know how to handle a loquacious talker like him.

They’ve called him names, the most serious of course is that of being a tyrant. He has often been described as pikon or someone who is overly sensitive to criticisms. He has shown that he won’t hesitate to use profane language to avenge a deep, personal grudge.

Yet, in spite of all his seemingly maverick ways, President Duterte, over the last five years, has remained extremely popular. He doesn’t need to be a statesman since he knows pretty well that many of his admirers applaud his candor as yet another manifestation of his authenticity. They swallow everything he dishes out hook, line and sinker.

If there is Rizalista, it is also possible to have a Dutitista.

Yes a problem this coming election for LP. Also how will their senate bet will win.  De5 and Riza will be at risk this time.  Masasama nanaman sa otso diretso sa inodoro.

Actually if there was no pandemic Du30 will still rule the majority but honestly Duque really have lots of blunder.

Duterte detractors' common assumption is that those who voted for Duterte are either idiots or just plain paid hacks.

The truth is, those who voted for Duterte were the very same ones who voted for Pnoy  eleven years ago. The same people who ironically rejected Pnoy's chosen candidate and instead gave Duterte his landslide victory five years ago, and the same who trashed the Liberal Party's "Ocho Derecho" in a humiliating defeat during the midterm elections two years ago.

Idiots? Paid political hacks? Better rethink your assumptions.
