bleed
Migrating is not actually a bad idea.  Given i would be able to have a nice job that pays better, be wherever it maybe outside our country, i think ill grab the opportunity. But my patriotism to where i was born will always remain. jologsparin
I'd accept a job abroad, make lots of money but I would prefer to go back to the land of my birth. Quote Link to comment

necromancer007
And yayabang pa akala mo kung sino... Sad to say that I'm better off somewhere else.... Lets just pray that May God save the Philippines! jad
Quote Link to comment
necromancer007
To add up to this topic kung bakit gusto kong mag migrate to other country is the peace and order situation. Quote Link to comment
evantreborn
ako dito lang ako... i'm patriotic din eh... bleak as the future may seem for the country, i still have hopes, kasi pano naman tayo aasenso kung lahat halos gusto na umalis? besides, i wanna help HER get there by working here. sweetequila
ok lang here...pero kung economy ang paguusapan...i would like to be there na lang, kasi kakatakot na dito, kagaya ng majority, i want to be with my family.... Quote Link to comment
baccaratboy
Cguro Patriotic lang ako. I want to stay here in the Philippines. I believe, if we will help one another and start change in us... we will be able to contribute significantly to the nation's economy towrds economic recovery... Quote Link to comment
necromancer007
Baccaratboy, I respect your opinion pero mukhang imposible ata yang sinasabi mo. Quote Link to comment
kjmm
given a chance yes..pero dapat kasama family ko, mahirap maging homesick Quote Link to comment

sunshineb
for me to leave manila and to migrate in some other countries is not good at all, though it is really possible for me.i will feel unhappy, cos my family and friends are in manila. and for me, philippines is the best country i know! and the filipinos are really the great people i know... ahehehehe...  ciao! :mtc: Quote Link to comment
mikhail
done this already purely for economic reasons. migrated 3 years ago to Canada and have not regretted it. back then, i was already at a dead end careerwise as the industry i used to work in was in the midst of consolidations and mergers. there were months that i was unemployed. before migrating, i have to accept the fact that my college education and 11 year work experience will not be recognized by any company in the country that i migrated in and i have to start all over again. however, hardwork, patience, honesty, integrity and an enthusiasm to learn and do whatever job is available will do it for you as well as other successfull filipino immigrants i know. nashty
since there's no indication na aangat ang bansa natin within the next few years.. i have a plan which my dad suggested to me before.. 1. graduate college2.a. get a masters degree ---or--- 2.b. migrate to australia3.a. migrate to australia ---or--- 3.b. get a masters degree (loan money?)4. get a job in a company5. work hard to get promoted.. after having a respectable rank in the company (as well as saving a lot of money)6. go home here in the philippines7. find a job in a good company (malamang kung nakitang mataas rank mo and all from a company pagaagawan ka diba?) cympre there's no place like home kaya uuwi ako.. besides.. this is the only country we've got.. may flaws ba? pm niyo na lang ako baka kasi nde ko maback read replies niyo about this.. thanks.. freakish
If I have a good income and business opportunity, i would stay in the Philippines, no questions asked. Mas masarap buhay sa Pinas compared sa abroad, at least sa Pinas I can see my friends and family in daily or weekly basis..dito sa abroad i have to make an appointment to see my friends. Palagi pang nacacancel. Eventually I would like to retire in the Philippines, and die there and have my ashes spread in different places i've been to in the country.
