blue+george
if you want to learn, no school can stop you. keep asking, find out your answers. simple questions can lead to an investigation of a lifetime. learners keep striving for knowledge. so your quest for knowledge should be the things that you love or your life long aspirations. there are no worst school, just stupid, lazy and lousy students like myself hahaha Quote Link to comment

rontan2014
Private schools/colleges/institutes/universities that just recently granted a CHEd certification are already suspect.Mas maganda mag-aral ka dun sa mga kilalang colleges/universities na sobra na ng 50 years. Ang pinaka-ideal magaral ka sa mga CHEd Autonomous Universities. Why you need to graduate from a reputable institution?1. Rigorous training and discipline. Hinid nabibili ang grado.2. Employability sa mga multinational companies.3. Alumni network. Better positioned for management jobs. Quote Link to comment
turdmaggot
Benilde, based sa dumbass, pretentious and asskissing graduates nila i encountered sa work Probably can't afford the tuition fee, huh? This college's graduates have good communication skills, and they're not easily intimidated. Don't generalize. I think you're just insecure. Most benilde graduates are well-off so it's not actually "ass-kissing" when they talk comfortably with the bosses. Also, please enlighten me about this "ass-kissing" that you speak of? That's the requirement 20 years ago. At least 3 years of industry practice. Then if you finished college at least Cum Laude, the school may invite you to teach in college. Now, beginning about 2005 or 2006, colleges (especially the top ones like Ateneo, UP, UST and DLSU - the Big 4) require only a Master's Degree that you obtained from those schools or from 1st world countries like USA, France, Germany, Canada, etc. I have been teaching in these schools for about 10 years now. Just for fun. They usually discriminate against non- Big 4 schools. Grabe sa Pinas! Quote Link to comment

Just for fun. They usually discriminate against non- Big 4 schools. Grabe sa Pinas! At UP you usually have 5 years to complete your masteral studies the moment you're accepted for teaching. It's an unwritten rule but latin honors are preferred of course. It's not an absolute requirement; but you ought to have good grades for the most part, not that many fails, and of sound character. But some of the most arrogant untouchable people in the country are those tenured professors in Diliman who graduated magna or summa cum laude. They're the ones who usually make the high salary grades, get the special professorial chairs, the lucrative research grants, are prioritized for PhD studies abroad, and priority for free housing inside the campus. They also like to put other people (and each other) down. "Ah si ____? Estudiante ko noon 'yun. Tanga-tanga 'yun. Ewan ko ba kung pano naging senador." "Si _____? CEO na? Ang tamad-tamad noon 'yon. Umaasa lang sa kopya!" Or maybe: Physics professor talking to the Dean of Economics: "Pare, you're one of the brightest people I know. But I still think I'm a better economist." The problem with the so-called intellectuals of UP is that they are just closeted colonial mentalists of the leftist kind. They’re stuck in the 60’s and 70’s at the tail-end of the other progressive movements from the west whose ideals have been largely debunked. There’s a reason why there is this brewing resentment towards them that spills over to that other school in Katipunan. They are the most privileged in our society. Yet, they complain about social privileges. Its ironic at the least and astronomically stupid at most. Quote Link to comment
mordo
"HOME", Not literally a "school". Most Filipino households doesn't care about the well being of their kids. Inom Dito, inom don, Videoke Dito, Videoke don. As long as toxicity is seen in ones household, there's a big chance that a kid might result to wasting their time in social media platforms watching non-sense and stupid pranksters-vloggers that doesn't add any value to their well being. Leaning on TikTok videos and disregarding history and valid researches. Patanga ng patanga ang henerasyon ngayon. Sad, but true. Quote Link to comment
