Meron aksi ako 2 pairs of XIVs, the last shots and the limited graphite/black colorway. matyagal ko na pinag-iisipan kung ipapambasketbol ko yung either one of them pero kasi alam ko na yung last shots konti lang yung nilabas dito tapos yung graphite/black naman alam ko wla dito nun e ayoko naman malaspag agad yung papanlaro ko.......Advice naman mga bro...... Tol, Since you mentioned that you have 2 pairs, I would recommend playing in them. Sayang naman kung hindi mo ipanglalaro... the XIV's are one of the kicks i love playing with... some would say na sayang ang value kapag ginamit mo na... pero for me, if I bought a basketball shoe, I'd use it for its purpose... Share ko lang mga tol. If you wanna keep it for your collection, fine... but if you're an avid baller, you should play using AJ XIV's. On a side note... one of the best pa din anf AJ11. Yan din yung kaso ko tol... ang lakas kumain ng sapatos ang paa ko... pero nabanngit mo that you 2 sets of AJXIV's, y not keep the more expensive one or the one that's used the least... Tama din sila bro, magamit and maexperience mo gamitin ang shoes na nagkakandarapa ang mga tao... not because of the price tag (madaming expensive jan na panget ang feel), but the technology... pde naman eh... Sabi nga nung editor nung KICKS (published by SLAM), parang don't waste the oppurtunity to use a shoe because of it's resale value... Hind rin sa kinokontra kita bro, 2 kasi sa sapatos ko b4 hindi ko ginamit... AJ11 na black at SHAQNOSIS... aun... nasayang ng hindi ko napakinabangan. pero if you wanna keep the kicks for your kids and your soon to be grandkids in the future could see... go ahead. friendly advice lang ang mabibigay namen. tim21 Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 as for me, i buy basketball shoes just for the sole purpose of playing ball with it. hindi ko ginagamit na pamorma kse nabibigatan ako. what matters to me is that maganda ang fit and cushioning para comfortable ang feet and knees ko. marami na akong napudpod na shoes and kapag sobrang pudpod na, pinamimigay ko na sa iba. kaya usually i just have three to four pairs at a time. lumabas na ung shoes ni duncan... 14,995 cya. pinagiisipan ko pa kung bibilhin ko or not. kabibili ko lang kse ng bagong shoes. What I'm actually trying to point out is that I want to preserve the kicks, Yung mga pambasketbol ko kasi ang bilis masira e (feeling ko dahi sa paa ko yun kasi lahat ng naging pambasketbol ko nasira agad) so hesitant pa ko gamitin...... my suggestion is, if youre gonna keep youre shoes deadstock, keep it in a cool dry place. it'll make the shoe last much longer. here in the us, shoe collectors keep their shoes in a temperature controlled room. kalaban kasi ng rubber compound ng sole ng rubbershoes is moisture, brought about by being exposed to hot air, mahirap kasi sa atin dahil humid. what others would also do is put it in large ziploc bags, then use a vacuum cleaner to suck the air out. it really prolongs the life of the shoe. as far as using them, its up to you. if i were you, i'll keep the last shots (black/red) 14s deadstock, as it has a sentimental value as far as mj is concerned. thats what i try to do, if i have multiple pairs, like nung huarache 2k5, i have the limited all-star of kobe as well as the black/grey colorway that i bought on sale. i kept the all star one and used the black/grey one. hope this helps.
