MrsB Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 I have a 2-year old chowchow. Sobrang cute and cuddly!!! Pero medyo alagain. Her hair needs to be brushed regularly and we have to use these tea trea dog shampoos on her. Kasi kung hindi, nag-kaka-dandruff. (Yung poodle ko dati, share lang kami ng shampoo.) As for the training, ok naman. She easily learned basic tricks from us. Sobra kasi siyang takaw so she'll do anything for a treat. Although I have to admit, I had an easier time training my poodle. Pero okay siya na guard dog. She's huge, so medyo intimidating. She also barks everytime someone even stands near our gate. Since she has a low, booming bark, people get scared of her. dsnake Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 i used to not like dogs... terrified of them actualy because of this hildhood phobia i got when i got bitten by a neighbor's dog. i used to think that having pets is a waste of time and money... i mean why waste money on a dog when there's lots of kababayans starving out there. :hypocritesmiley: but when my brother brought in a shi-tzu, i lost all my fears and became an animal lover. hehe. psyches Posted September 28, 2005 Share Posted September 28, 2005 any reco about a medium sized dog na mabait and pwede sa loob ng bahay?furry kailangan and a good gurard dog as well.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> u can also try buying a japanese spitz. very good guard dog bcoz of it being alert.. medyo makulit nga lang sa umpisa pero u can train it nman while still young. o kaya nman american bulldog pra dun sa mga may kaya, medyo mahal kasi e. question lang po: i have a labrador in my house pero d cya tumatahol whatsoever pag my dumadating na tao. gusto ko kc maintimidate cla sa aso ko sobrang tahimik e. posible kayang matrain sya na patahulin pag my tao sa labas?? I saw the ad sa veterinarian... best bet is to check sa mga vets nyo kase me mga pictures that are being advertised...
