so far im still happy with my 7 months old NEO Empriva with 2G memory and downgrade to XP dahil di ako kuntento sa Vista specially pag nag dedevelop ako ng mga web applications :D

dami natutuwa kasi laki ko daw tao pero yung laptop ko eh 12.1 inches wide lang while mga issue sa office eh mga 15 inches :P

so far for me it is a good buy dahil sa spec ng laptop ko with other brand eh nasa 50K to 60K na aabutin while i only bought it ng less than 40K

in terms of quality, which is better, the vaio or dell?

Likewise, dell user here for 4 years and never had any problem. Actually, im buying a new laptop again now since Im tired of the 15" laptop. I thought I wasnt going to carry this around that much so I initially bought the 15" but lately its kinda getting pretty heavy so I decided to change. My new laptop----another Dell 13 incher!

Dell Vostro 1500 Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz with 2.00GB of RAM. I can boot XP Pro and/or Vista Ultimate (I use the XP most of the time)

I had a Macbook (3 months) a couple of months back - it's really nice but most of the applications and files I work with are better @ XP

For home use - Dell 630M - for surfing, kiddie games and a few docs

can u give me a decent specs for a laptop and ok lng bng centrino gamitin ko instead of core 2duo or core duo?

go for the core 2 duo, and kung chatting n surfing trip mo, dapat my built in webcam n mic na kunin mo, khit branded o generic ok lang basta importante ok ang warranty :headsetsmiley: , stay away from too expensive laptops :thumbsdownsmiley: , ksi pag gusto mo na palitan, mahihirapan ka isell, just buy the right laptop for you, w/ the right price. :thumbsupsmiley:

ok ba neo laptops kasi im planning to buy 1 kasi medyo ok ung budget and ok rin ung specs nya. more on chatting and web surfing lng nmn cacawin ko eh. any feed backs on pros and cons?

dont have problem wth my neo naman so far nasa gumagamit din yan at nasa pag iingat.

and if surfing and chatting lang naman ang gagawin why settle for an over k*ll spec laptop while lower spec can handle it naman.

yan yung sinasabing do some research muna before you decide on which to buy kasi syempre higher specs eh higher price din at di mo din naman mapapakinabangan yung pagiging high specs nya.

I got an ACER yup however when i bought this unit a newer model came up

with the webcam on it...

Surf the net 1st, when planning to buy electronics. :thumbsupsmiley: Sayang very useful p naman "built in" webcam n mic. Lalo na wen ur travelling and home sick na. Pero u can buy naman a seperate webcam w mic, hassle nga lang, tsaka almost all brand new laptops now has a built in webcam n mic.

I wanted to buy a tablet. I'm choosing between:

HP pavilion tx2070 (brand new, will be bought outside at around 66K): AMD, 250 GB HD, 2GB RAM (Max)

Lenovo x60 tablet (2nd hand, around 60K, bought at local market): Intel Core2, 100 GB HD, 1GB RAM (4 GB Max)

Which one do you think?
