dodo
the vikes are turning into sentimental faves again... just like a couple of years ago...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> The vikes are on a roll. if they bring back culpepper, i'll personally break his other leg. I live here in Minneapolis so he is within reach. Quote Link to comment

teio
unfortunately... they are going to hit a wall... a massive wall... no... a steel curtain... this coming sunday as pittsburgh comes to town... and on the line are each other's playoff hopes... pittsburgh is in a dogfight with jacksonville, kansas city, and san diego for the afc wild card slots... the vikes are also in the same position with dallas, carolina, and atlanta all vying for a nfc wild card slot... and if the vikes do pull off a win this sunday... they'll surely need to take extra shots of aspirin as their final two opponents sport potent and hard-hitting defenses... baltimore and chicago... da bears... DA BEARS!!!... :boo:The vikes are on a roll. if they bring back culpepper, i'll personally break his other leg. bubuy
in the end... reggie bush will be snatched away by the san francisco 49ers... :thumbsupsmiley: <{POST_SNAPBACK}>yeah baby! 49er fan here.. alex smith is improving each game they are just one explosive RB away from being contenders again.. and with bush i see someone who will give LT a good fight as the best RB in the league.. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
teio
yup... just an rb away... no thanks to kevan barlow... he broke many hearts in fantasy leagues... but they must get someone or a bunch of guys who could anchor their offensive line... and give alex smith the needed protection and the rb... whoever he is... the space to exploit... someone like steve hutchinson... who is the likely odd-man-out in seattle... as walter jones and shawn alexander are in the seahawks' re-signing priority list... regarding ladanian tomlinson as the best back in the game... perhaps his catching ability gives him the upshot... his three touchdown strikes might be associated with the shrewd offensive mind of marty schotteheimer... yeah baby! 49er fan here.. alex smith is improving each game they are just one explosive RB away from being contenders again.. and with bush i see someone who will give LT a good fight as the best RB in the league.. :thumbsupsmiley: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the other big question is... where will vince young go?... green bay?... bubuy
aha! same with the trojan lefty who won the heisman a year ago.. i doubt if the packs will get another QB as they drafted aaron rodgers in the 1st rd this year.. i dont think they can afford to have 2 youngsters throwing the ball pending the imminent retirement of the great favre.. the jets are also likely contenders for high draft picks.. maybe young or leinart can dislodge chad as the starter? Remember that Rodgers just fell onto their laps and they couldn't resist it. As far as their confidence in his abilities....that remains to be seen. GB can trade up to the Jets spot in the draft and grab leinhart. i dont think the jets have given up on chad pennington. look for them to grab a veteran quarterback ala Brad Johnson via free agency just my 2 cents Quote Link to comment
sixgears
Big Blue is 9-4 ... who knew!!! :boo: They could've been 10-3 if not for that idiot Jay Feely! :grr: Quote Link to comment
teio
yaiks... forgot about aaron rodgers... poor kid... favre has still a year or two left in his tank... with this in mind... the packers should get an offensive lineman that they could develop... the offensive line is their achilles' heel this season as it was plagued by injuries and free agent departures... the jets will likely be among the top five in the drafting order... chad pennington is too valuable to lose despite his injuries... if lady luck will smile on their favor... they might end up having reggie bush alongside curtis martin...aha! same with the trojan lefty who won the heisman a year ago.. i doubt if the packs will get another QB as they drafted aaron rodgers in the 1st rd this year.. i dont think they can afford to have 2 youngsters throwing the ball pending the imminent retirement of the great favre.. the jets are also likely contenders for high draft picks.. maybe young or leinart can dislodge chad as the starter? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>there was an article before that green bay was still eyeing leinhart. The Vikes that the Bears played early in the season was a much different team than what you see now. Daunte Culpepper is a physically gifted but he is mentally challenged. He made too many stupid mistakes at critical times. Quote Link to comment

Even if they get Bush, which is still a big if, they do need their Oline to perform 100% better than what they've done this year. Hopefully they'll get Jennings back, but questions abound as to who will play RT as everyone has finally come around to admitting Harris is a BUST! Newberry could retire with his knee condition as well. They also will have huge question marks as far as WR is concerned with both Lloyd and Battle as FA's this year. Quote Link to comment
