joshiasi
jerry jones is taking another gamble... but what the heck... he used the same philosohy when he drafted troy aikman, who then just recovered from an injury... and traded herschel walker to the minnesota vikings for draft picks that included the great emmitt smith... let us wait and see whether or not owens' attitude flares up again now that he is given another chance... but take this quick look at the past... owens used to torment america's team... as shown by the number of times he jiggied on the star in the middle of texas stadium... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> not to mention another great showmen of the game in Primetime Sanders the Tuna is also a coach that i think can handle TO.... he had coached a lot of those "profile" players and in return he brought out the best in them..... it will be a very interesting season for Dallas.... an in-your-face coach, an in-your-face quarterback and now an in-your-face wideout..... i just hope they will all get along :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
teio
lawrence taylor is one of those guys parcells handled while in new york... with the offense already upgraded... the cowboys need to tweak their defense right now... it is hard task to find a replacement for la roi glover and newly retired dat nguyen... btw... nfl commissioner jerry tagliabue is set to retire this coming july... TO can punish those pass rushers and with good blocking... things will open up with the offense as Julius Jones will be able to see more daylight with TO around..... Quote Link to comment
teio
terry glenn is still around... together with jason witten... plus larry allen is still making a lot of plays in the trenches... jones and marion barber can both have a breakout this coming season... there is no reason for bledsoe to have a mediocre performance... roy williams is perhaps the lone cowboy who does good on pass coverage while delivering those cringe-inducing tackles... remember that hit he gave to rod smith in the last pro bowl?... it is a sad thing that jeff garcia... the guy who once gave the 49ers a renewed hope when steve young and jerry rice left... is only a backup for the philadelphia eagles behind donovan mcnabb... howard_the_duck
Who the hell is Marion Williams? Also, USC's 2004 title is in jeopardy, for Reggie's family is accused of accepting money from agents. Quote Link to comment
teio
well... the texans chose defensive end mario williams because they already have the guys in the qb and rb positions... they opted to upgrade their defense instead... still it is quite a surprise that bush ended up with new orleans... what will happen now with duece mcallister?... yaiks... vince young ended up near the middle of the picking order... and with oakland... with the steve mcnair fiasco still goin' on... tennessee opted to chose matt leinart as the third pick... the titans now begin a new chapter without "the air"...
