There are diff version of this story.

Some say it's from Taiwan, others China and last one from Japan where they are sold in cans.

yes, raw beef, raw egg, and raw onion besides. if you used to watch mr. bean, may episode in which he ordered it without knowing what it was, nung hindi nya makain, tinapon nya kung saan saan, including sa bulsa ng waiter na nakatalikod! harharhar!

 

i used to order this stuff sa treffpunkt when it was still open. sarap nya isabay sa beck's or lowenbrau. would you know of any other place which still serves it nowadays?
