Palakol
What I mean by easy is madali sya intindihin.... meron kc ilan na hindi gad nakakaintindi ng techniques ng grappling...di tulad ng striking basta sinabi mo suntok, sipa alam na nila yun..."suntok, sipa, etc..." = "sakalin mo, pilipitin mo ang braso, yakapin mo, etc..." that is the equivalent. grappling and striking are equal, though separate entities of the game. by training both, you later feel which aspect you are comfortable with. you develop your own individual "style." anyone can flail around and throw their limbs at some random target. but a flailing arm is not a punch. far from it. the arm movement that passes as "a punch" to the layman is but 15% of the equation of a punch, and sadly is even performed incorrectly. for example. so, yeah... and yes, i know what i am talking about, though it sounds a little biased coming from me. ryujin6190
as a beginner, take an MMA class directly. then, branch out from there, depending on which aspect you are comfortable with. and just to make things clear, striking is NOT easy. you can spar in grappling every single day of the week (one of the things i love about it), but in striking that will lead to facial fractures, internal bleeding, and brain damage. Thanks for the tip, Sir. I'll think about it first whether I'll take MMA directly. Those things that you've said were helpful before I make a decision. I am open to other advices that you can recommend before taking up MMA. Quote Link to comment

Great Milenko
Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic returns at UFC 99 to face Mustapha Al-Turk From the Crocop’s official blog: I decided to fight in the UFC again, because of the stronger competition in the heavyweight division. My next opponent will be Mustapha Al-Turk. I didn’t do well in my first three appearances - I wasn’t myself. By returning to the cage I want to prove that I can still fight at highest level, no matter when or where. It’s hard to talk about concrete plans, but I would really like to fight at least three times this year. I wish to fight against quality opponents and to fight my way up to a title shot but for now, I’ll focus only on my next fight and after that we’ll see what’s going to be on the menu next. I want to say thank you Mr. Dana White for your interest and for an invitation back to the UFC. I owe you a lot from our first deal, and I’ll make it up to you. I'm glad to hear that CroCop's back in the UFC. I'm sure that he still want to prove that he's not done yet (Let us not forget the 2 loses in the cage against Gonzaga and Kongo). Can't wait to watch him fight again. I hope that the CroCop of Pride shows up at UFC 99 (like what Shogun did against the Iceman). Quote Link to comment
