With the price of gasoline today-Diesel seems to be a practical choice but the engines are generally more expensive than gasoline engines.

Diesel tends to be noisy and vibration can be felt in the cabin unless it is a Benz. Also maintenance of a diesel is costly especially the fuel injection system.

If I have to buy for myself, I would still buy a gaosline engine car. It is more responsive especially when accelerating.
