What year was this? After which how many deaths from our uniformed men have been added during ceasefire? Your logic dictates one can't change his/her opinion on the matter. Kindly relate this to fentanyl.

Soldiers have been dying due to NPA attacks (even during ceasefires) even way before he made such remarks (1968-2013).

 

I would say there were more soldiers killed in the years from the day he said this going back to the founding of the NPA than there ever were from the days after he said this until this day, Just as sure that there are more dead people in the whole world now from the time man evolved from apes to this day.

 

What has changed is his stance. Pwede naman mag change ng opinion, pero if the change is so drastic na mismong yun pinaka advocacy nya ang nagbago, eh mag duda ka na kung ano pa babaguhin niyang stances nya. I don't see any relation between his statements when he was still a mayor and his Fentanyl dose.

 

In the article, he said, as a mayor, he cannot do anything about the NPA's tax collection because that is a national issue which is the jurisdiction of the national government. But he can do something about NPA's criminal activities and cited an example of what he did to make the NPA apologize and pay PhP5000 to the civilian victims killed in one incident.

 

Now that he is President, he handles the NPA rebellion issues, including revolutionary taxes. His statements before as Mayor and now as President should be taken in its proper context.

Friends and countrymen... CPP/NPA is the result of Oppressed from the bondage of slavery in what form? Hunger/economic sabotage/deprived of equality /the poor is becoming poorer economicaly.

 

Give a good reason and platform to convince the people in the mountains not to go to arms struggle? if they will be deprived of Funding- better condition of living- living with all the conditions of equality what else? one can count by the fingers what the basic needs food, clothing and shelter.

If one of this basic needs is not present then what one think the next move will be? Happy and be Merry?

I am citing real incidents what if you are living a descent life and suddenly your in a middle of intense military activities and you see your father hit by a bullet while climbing a tree because of miscalculation identified being a sniper. what will you feel if you see a pwd walking with crutches in the farm and harrased identified as an NPA informer. what will you feel if they burned your house while in the farm doing livelihood because they heard a group of people resting in your backyard.

 

one cant blame of their plight if you were on their shoes.
