camiar
i am not talking a fancy story here these are not two different things and i am not sweeping generalization here. nangyari ito sa bukaran ko mismo at mga tao ko ito ang sinasabi ko. at huwag mong sabihan sa akin na ito ay kuwento lang. nasaan ka ba ng dekada 80 nakatikim ka na ba na pinukpok sa ulo ng 45? Alam ng NPA ang mga pangyayaring yan. At sinasadya nilang gawin yan. Edited February 13, 2018 by camiar Quote Link to comment

"Friends and countrymen... CPP/NPA is the result of Oppressed from the bondage of slavery in what form? Hunger/economic sabotage/deprived of equality /the poor is becoming poorer economicaly. Give a good reason and platform to convince the people in the mountains not to go to arms struggle? if they will be deprived of Funding- better condition of living- living with all the conditions of equality what else? one can count by the fingers what the basic needs food, clothing and shelter. If one of this basic needs is not present then what one think the next move will be? Happy and be Merry? Stick to the point ka. Quote Link to comment

KathrynFut
Parents will find a way around it. Whether they can afford it or are making sacrifices to pay for it, they will seek whatever help they can for their kids. Its too important to them. Quote Link to comment

courtesanhunter
1 Quote Link to comment
FF
the NPA and other rebel groups depend highly on the public sympathy for their support. When I was in UP during martial law days I had bout 5-7 friends who joined the movement as it was ( for them ) the only way to overthrow a corrupt and oppressive govt. At present , the NPA has little support as their ideology is not appealing for most. Heck even Russia and China have adapted capitalist policies. The biggest communist threat does not lie within IMHO but with communist CHINA . Edited May 18, 2022 by FF Quote Link to comment
macbolan00
What's funny is how much flak these guys get from their constituents all because they they're authoritarian and US-leaning: Ferdinand Marcos, Park Chung Hee, Lee kwan Yew, Suharto, Shah of Iran, Augusto Pinochet The fact is living in those countries under them was kinda safe (and at the least bearable.) Now, compare the first group to this this next one. Dictators who were anti-US. Also a question: would you have wanted to live in their countries at the time? Mao Tse Tung, Kim Il Sung, Fidel Castro, Josef Tito, Enver Hoxha, Muhammar Kaddafi, Ayatollah Khomeini, Saddam Hussein Edited May 20, 2022 by macbolan00 Quote Link to comment
hit05
I am just sharing what I picked up online on history, A good historian declares that facts are eternal. The facts can be verified and confirmed but opinions are varied and at times contradictory. Thus facts are the basis for historical Truth. Karl Marx is a German journalist assigned to cover the American Civil War. In the course of his work, he was able to correspond with President Abraham Lincoln, who mentioned Marx once in a letter. Lincoln is renowned to remind America of duty to God and fought a war to abolish slavery. Marx meanwhile is a Jew, maybe an atheist. From the Gospels, Jesus declared that the Jew will not see him again until the Day of the Lord. This needs careful attention since apart from making Jews the first people who were given the Gospels, they are also destined to be the Last. They exist as a sign that despite their claim to be closest to God, Jesus, who is the Way, Truth and Life has hidden himself from them. Jesus is the Light of the World and the people who walk in darkness are the Jews, who after Jesus left, had to return into walking in the dark. Lincoln stands tall as the US President who put his country on the right path. For this reason, America has been blessed. God Bless America! Marx meanwhile became the seed of defiance. A Jew will have the excuse not to see the Way that Lincoln followed. He is made blind by the Word of the Lord. Jesus forgave them for they do not know what they are doing. Yes, the Jewish mob and the Pharisees who influenced them, murdered Jesus since at the time, they were already made blind to the Truth. Those who follow Marx may be what Jesus cautions as blind men following blind guides. But Marx was not even that popular in his lifetime. His ideas were made into a religion by others like Engles, who for a time was resident of New York City. The movement that started Marxism was likely started from the USA, and supported by those who lost to Lincoln. They are today's Democrat liberals, if Lincoln is the true Republican conservative. Therefore it is no simple matter of pro or anti America. Apo Marcos was convinced that the left is responsible for removing him from office. He was correct. The fact is US Democrat Senators pressured him to leave office. But this input about how Marxism started may shatter the paradigm that America stands faithful to God the Almighty. That is a grave mistake since many a same sex marriage, abortion and anti Life movements, which are abominations under Scriptures are not being faithful to God at all, but propagated today here and in the USA more so. I am no Jew. Thus, my ability to see the Way Truth and Life is not impaired. What about you? God tore the kingdom away from the Jews and gave it to the Gentiles, which is a metaphor of the story of Saul, Israel's first king. Saul lost favor and God tore the kingdom away from Saul and gave it to David instead. Quote Link to comment
