So because you hear about a few bad apples in the police force, you generalize. But if that's what floats your boat, go ahead.

Id hardly call the corrupt cops few. The good ones, those are few.

Ang pinoy in general abusado, kulang sa disiplina kahit sino pa nakaupo. And when i say Pinoy in general kasama na diyan mga politiko na pansariling interest muna bago ang interest ng bayan at lahat ng mamamayan. Abusado rin ... Kahit na ngayon si digong ang nakaupo may disiplina na ba ang tao? Nawala o nabawasan ba corruption? Giving credit where its due: I do appreciate Dutertes guts for firing members of his circle who he percieves as corrupt.

 

The opposite of this was the most frustrating aspect of the last egghead president: sticking by his own men even when they were blatantly doing corrupt practices.

 

Now, if Duterte would just fire his incompetent staffers, then that would be awesome.

I would have preferrerd that he named the two and file the necessary charges. Note that this is corruption not incompetence to send a strong anti corruption signal no matter who they are big or small.

Like I said, I haven't experienced riding on a PUV with a cop, hence, I can't comment on it.
