He/she will be tasked with administering the hosting accounts and web servers of these sites. Other design and programming tasks may be assigned, depending on project needs. Can I work for like 1 or 2 months(max) only? Do you have any suggestions where I would have better chances of getting hired? THanks!<{POST_SNAPBACK}> hi there TidusJanus, hmmm let me give you my opinion about your plan...first most of the call centers now are looking for a graduates however there are still few who accepts undergrad...can you work for a month or 2? i doubt it min. training that you'll have in a call center industry is one month depending on the account that you'll handle most require more than a month so two months would not be good enough for you to have experience and regarding your plans of proving to your mom that you can deal with the real life i guess there are other ways for you to prove your self...good luck to your studies buddy... hope im opinion makes sense Quote Link to comment

I seriously doubt it, training alone usually lasts 2-3 weeks & it's like they're already investing on you. so if you'll tell them that you only wanna work for 1, 2 or 3 months.... i doubt your chances... either way...gud luck! :) Edited January 17, 2006 by kidyot214 Quote Link to comment

If you're intentions are to show that you can make it on your own, I suggest to go for it. There's nothing like self-motivation to make it in this world. What's important is not to lose your focus mid-way through your goal otherwise all the hardwork will be wasted. coldfussion Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 hmmm most of the advise that you got came from someone who is already working in a call center and they correct that call center are investing on their agents skill, accent etc...for you to go to the floor to take calls you might spent 1-2 months in training alonethe problem in working in call center is most of the time you will be assinged on graveyard and if your taking you class in the morning...GOODLUCK to your health and grades... what i can suggest to you is take it one step at a time. finish your studies then apply... there are lots of members here in mtc who is working in call center that can help you...including me...but for now FINISH your studies first... :cool: :mtc: Quote Link to comment
