Ok na ok yung explanation mo. Ang comment ko lang is i consider mutual fund low risk low return..regarding naman sa 70% time deposit, masyadong mababa ang return. I prefer investing in real estate/properties...low risk, high return. Pero dapat meron pa ring emergency fund. 🍻

Lol. 😁

Sikreto? Dalawang trabaho. Yung part-time na mas malaki pa bayad sa full-time job ko. Tapos matinding kagustuhang lumaki and pera, yumaman, at maging financially independent.

At may kasamang sheer dumb luck. 😊

Ako rin wala pang 1M and by the looks of it, hindi ko na maabot kasi gus2 ko magretire maaga, around 55 years old. That sucks in the sense na yung working age na 56-65 is where money really, what's the term -- compound!

I don't want to be those who have millions at napabayaan na health nila kakakayod and then pag retire at 70 e dedo na.

Aretha Franklin died at 76 with $80M. John McCain died at 81 with $16M. Ang daming mga pera na iba makikinabang. Ni hindi man nila na-experience the spectacular beaches of the Philippines.

Psychologically, mahirap talagang tumanggi sa pera at compounding growth -- yun tipong nagkaka-Php1M+ ka just because. Kelangan maaga pa lang mag-prepare na to say NO to millions and YES to beaches and margaritas. LOL.

Ayokong dalawa trabaho ko...ok na ako sa isang trabaho na may work-life balance. Mas prefer ko passive income wherein i will do little or nothing at all. Share ko lang nag-iinvest ako sa mutual fund, DVboer, Farmon, properties (land and condo)..so far ok naman ang return..siguro hindi nga lang kasinglaki ng kinikita nyo 😂😂😂 ayoko kasi magspend masyado ng time dyan kaya instead na magstocks ako, mutual fund na lang. instead na magtayo ng sariling business, dvboer at farmon na lang. instead na maging property/insurance consultant, aasa na lang ako sa rent sa properties ko...so para sa akin ok na ako sa fixed income from my job + some few passive income + time for myself 😊🍻

Perfect. Ganyan din ako. Parehas tayo pre. 1 job only, me 1 rental, tapos 2 mutual funds. Actually ngayon mid-40s ko lang na-observe yung compounding for the first time. Dati kasi maliit pa yung base. This year, Php600K compounding gain so far (pero me tax pa yan haha). About 10 years ago, buong sweldo ko na yan sa isang taon. hehe.

6.4% ang published inflation rate. Bloodbath raw sa PSE dahil dito.

People are going nuts. We're going down, they say.

I see an opportunity for cheaper buys at the market. Hehe

Time to submit the missing document requirement. Kasi I opened an account via my FA.

As if their biggest clients show up to transact with them. 😋

Regarding Time Deposits, is it allowed or advisable to open multiple time deposits sa isang bank under one name? like say opening 2 Plan Ahead Timed Deposits from BPI.

PS,

Derogatory comments and remarks are allowed. =) Thank you.

Magkakaiba ba sila NG term o duration? Isang bagsakan ba ang bukas NG time deposits o sa magkakaibang panahon?

Have a plan to increase your income.

Have a budget so you know how much do you need to live. Control your spending.

Once you increase your earning, and control your spending, Save atleast 50% of your take home pay.

Invest your savings. I personally invest in Index ETF. Make your money work for you.

Once your investment grew to 25 times your annual expenses, you can consider yourself as financially independent

Any tips on how to be financially sound for those who are low wage earners?

I'm currently earning 20+k a month, I also got a plan from Sunlife (captain's fund/insurance)

I'm not targeting to earn millions but I just want to be financially secure and to have an emergency fund.

Magsimula kang mag-invest sa maliit..try mo sa farmon..you can invest for as low as 1500pesos..in 6-8 months you can get 10-15% profit.
