i'm a larry bird fan. but in terms of athleticism, ibang beast si lebron. a karl malone body with the speed of a guard. but who knows? bird won because of his tremendous determination. he actually believed that he can win over mj during their prime

I'm a Larry Legend fan but I think Lebron has surpassed him. Career longevity is also a major factor for me. Lebron is still really really good. Actually, he is still the best player in the league after 13 years even though he is not longer at his peak. Larry is amazing but Lebron is carrying a heavier burden than Larry ever did.

Both are tremendous players but what separates them is the ability to perform in the clutch...in this aspect bird has the edge hands down

Larry Bird. He's someone that you can relate to. Not athletic but skilled because he worked hard ar it. High basketball IQ and always makes the right play.

 

LeBron James is a unique specimen. He'a admirable for all of his skills but one can only dre of being like him.

Yes, I doubt it too. Both are great shot creators, rebounders and passers but what sets Bird apart from James is the clutch. James does not hold a candle to Bird in this department. Truly great players excel in the clutch.

agree...the king needed mr. allen in game 6 of the miami-spurs series and mr. irving in game 7 of the cavs-warriors series to get his rings. big shots by both players.
