i saw the blue junglemaster already today. atong was right, the tone of the blue is very manly. it is so dark that its blueness is so subtle you would think it was actually black. if it only also had the yellow hands of the black, it would be perfect. another difference is the day-date display. the black dial also has black day-date while the blue dial's is white.

the second crown on the left is for adjusting the compass. it wasn't free-playing when i tried it but maybe it can be set as such, not sure.

you have to see the blue dial in different angles of light. the richness of the color is suberb. now if only it had sapphire crystal. does anyone know of any source of sapphire crystals which can be fitted into this watch and someone who can do it decently?

hehehe ewan ko ba I just saw it sa net, it was originally priced at $450, now its down to 100...anyway, what watch would you chose from these two: Tissot seamaster or yung Tag Aquaracer Alu Automatic, I know mejo may difference sila in terms of price, but would it better to buy the tag na lang or Tissot which is a bang for the buck

that might be seastar youre referring to. seastar 660 quartz or seastar 1000 automatic. i was quoted 26k for the matic and somewhere below 20 for the quartz . i dont know the price of tag. tag, IMHO, was way overpriced and marketed too much. im sure true watch afficionados will pick tissot mainly because of its past affiliation with omega. the movements for both watches are most probably ETA. it would probably all boil down to personal preference and brand name consciousness. tissot is more designed towards function and durability while tag tends to lean more toward style.

yung Fossil was a gift from my wife.

tapos yung Timex, got it for only 850.00 pesos sa Cebu Timex warehouse.

aside from chronos in megamall, any idea where else they sell hamilton watches? was reading my fhm and they featured 3 watches from hamilton, got to fancy the 3rd one with the khaki strap, just forget what it's called. also, any idea on how much hamilton watches cost? ballpark figure ika nga.

sorry i haven't dug up much info on the startrek este luc piccard watch. for $100, i guess if it's an automatic siguro pwede na basta ok yung movement. if it is just posing as a swiss watch but with a chinese movement it is way too overpriced. there are a lot of better priced plus better quality watches out there.

 

re tag or tissot, i think you are referring to the tissot seastar. if you ask me, i would get the tissot over the tag any day and considering the big price difference, you can even get 4 or 5 tissots for the price of 1 tag and the quality would be the same or i daresay even better than the tag. but that's just me......

is the first one a modified seiko diver's? where did you have it modified (beadblasting, dial, hands)?

 

wher did you get that trias????? have been searching for that brand ever since i found out about it.

hamilton....an american brand in the watch industry under the swatch group together with tissot, rado, mido, etc. they are available also at watch forum in glorieta. they have a khaki multi touch that is very much the same with feature of tissot t touch. don't know the price range though. i guess it's a little cheaper.

 

just to give you an idea.....
