you could also see watching fiba europe why macedonia made it to the top 4 for the first time even beating the much bigger lithuania. during our glory days di ba ala din taung malalaki instead we have a lot of good shooters.. un kulang sa tin outside shooting. we can compsensate for our lack of height with great hustles but we can not score a basket because our game is solely based on pick and roles and slashing inside. kung may outside shooting yan magopen up ng maraming opportunities. maganda interior defense natin sa china. kaso ala naman taung opensa balewala din. kaya dapat hanapin natin mga kalahi nila caidic co at adornado..

 

This was and is the very reason why South Korean beat China. They have lots and lots of great outside shooters. Unlike style ng Pinas na puro "buhat" or undergoal stab. Di puwede ang ganun sa international plays. South Korea just plays simple basketball, play, pasa pasa then shoot fromt the outside WITH ACCURACY!

i think, sa laban against JAPAN... mas maging aggressive si kelly williams, siya ang may malaking chance maka dish out ng foul from opponents.. kailangan niya ng power play and slashing sa game.

 

then lassiter and lutz, must play defense like what they did against JORDAN..

 

kailangan din magconnect o swertehin tayo sa outside shots natin..

 

plus, give japeth aguilar playing time.. or atleast subukan ni coach kung magiging effective siya sa game na yun. like what happened against bharain.

well, sa 7 teams na yan... we are fortunate na sa chinese taipei pa tayo natapat. then, let's hope JORDAN will win against IRAN... atleast we knew how to beat JORDAN. i think we also beat IRAN in the past tournament, although they also beat us in the quarters.

 

then, ok na rin na nasa kabilang group ang CHINA, KOREA, and JAPAN.. para sila sila nalang magubusan tapos ung matira makalaban natin sa finals. then, let's make an upset.

 

the best thing here, hindi naman ganun kalakasan sa banggaan ang CHINESE TAIPEI, CHINA, KOREA, JAPAN... kailangan natin ung power plays nila ranidel at kelly sa PBA para ubusin ang fouls ng kalaban.

Maiba naman.. I felt sympathy for the team Qatar. Pareho kasi nila tau na pinagiinitan ng Chinese Mafia led Fiba Asia. Mukha kasing nagreklamo yung isa pang bugok na opisyales ng Fiba Asia na taga Chinese Taipei. eto kasi sabi nung bugok na opisyales. Fiba Asia expresses its deepest regrets on these unforeseen and irresponsible acts of Team Qatar, which has caused a minor aberration on the shine of the championship. Such an errant and reckless attitude of the Qatar national team has no place in our sport. Matapos kasing gaguhin ng Qatar ung games nila between Iran and Uzbekistan eh naglaro sila ng seryoso sa Taiwan kahit 6 lang ang players nila. Buti na lang at 2 lang ang fil-ams natin and umaksyon kagad si mvp para makausap ang FIBA International. Much as i believe we can make it. I would have to concede early. With the way this mockery has been played its going to be China.. Baka pa nga Chinese Taipei makaharap nila sa Finals eh..

KELLY WILLIAMS played aggressive basketball first few possessions ng PILIPINAS galing sa kanya, defense and rebounding.. sana ma-sustain niya sa 4th.. he played like what i expect him to play.

 

CHRIS LUTZ from start until he fouled out, nice defense on JAPANESE shooter KAWAMURA. hindi nagkaroon ng rhythm si KAWAMURA dahil sa mala-asawang depensa ni LUTZ.

 

MARCIO LASSITER already with 13 pts.. aggressive siya defense and offense. at ngayon wala na si LUTZ, expected siya to guard KAWAMURA sa 4th.

 

nagcoconnect din tayo sa outside shots natin kaya nakakalamang tayo, plus our aggressiveness sa defense and fast break.. better chances na manalo tayo if we sustain this kind of play.

 

lastly, ayun waterboy uli si JAPETH.. ano ba problem kay JAPETH at ayaw siya paglaruin o bigyan ng chance ni COACH? last time he played, top scorer siya sa team.. tapos wala na uli playing time.
