RED2018
Finally, out of the rut! ...and what a way to win without Andray with plenty of time to spare. JunMar made a big difference, Jimmy had a terrific swan song, and LA plus Norwood played intelligently. Kudos also to Pinoys in Seville...Congrats to all of us who believe Quote Link to comment

junix
congrats to our gilas men!!! this experience in the world stage will only make us better. according to tim cone junmar and greg will be the future of philippine basketball in international competition. jimmy "might" reconsider his retirement kung maririnig niya ang sigaw ng bayan...but still, it's time to look not only for somebody to replace the captain but also to infuse young blood who will continue the program. it's on to the asian games. LABAN PILIPINAS!!! LET'S GET THE GOLD!!! Quote Link to comment

junix
I agree. In the 2015 FIBA-Asia, Chot can feature a triple tower combo. If Blatche continues to play with us, we can go big with Gregzilla at the 5, Kraken at the 4 and Andray at the 3. we can add ping, ranidel and japeth to this triumvirate. coaching staff will just have to look for somebody to take the place of the mighty mouse...one with determination and fire. barroca? casio? Soraoi_empire
I read this somewhere could not find the link that the final rankings for the teams that were eliminated in the group stages will be based on the total point differences of every final score. Which means our 4 close losses and this win will land us from 17th-21st place. If this is accurate then we'll still be the best performing Asian team in the World Cup.
