If I would have my way this will be my lineup

Douthit, Fajardo, Slaughter

De Ocampo, Williams

Dillinger, Norwood, Santos, Pingris

Chan, Yap, Fonacier

Castro, Ravena, Pringle

a little tweaking here would be to replace yap with ryan reyes, ravena with alas or abueva, santos with lutz/lassiter or baguio,

ha? kelly williams, ranidel and junemar can man that 4 position.

no need for a head case like japeth

just read an article wherein sabi ng mga governors wag na daw magpatryout si Chot kasi SUPERSTARS naman daw ang choices.. di na daw kelangan..

si james yap daw dati nasa pool tapos last minute na-cut.. naglasing.

my take on this article if TRUE... So?!! Sa NBA nga mga players may pool din e.. PBA lang magiinarte pa.

Hehe sorry naginit ulo ko pagkakita kay thoss , sakin nman dillinger over gabe aguilar over junemar pero sana either paul lee lutz or ibang shooters sinama nila

yup ako rin uminit ulo ko eh... sana si baguio na lang instead of thoss as alaska representative

dillinger over gabe... in terms of slashing yes, rebounding would have to go to norwood... i see these two as essentials to gilas...

aguilar over junemar??? aguilar doesn't have the physicality to play down low... he will not be playing sf... wala syang shooting and dribbling... junemar para post defender... plus junemar runs the floor well also...

di na pwede si lutz kasi 1 representative lang for each smc team...

paul lee? dami na pg... dillinger and gabe can play point... plus reyes is already in the lineup... better defender and shooter than paul lee... si baguio na lang sana kinuha talaga instead of thoss...

Ang pinaka importante ung bottom schedule. Pagka naqpanalo tayo makakapasok tayo sa FIBA world cup. Lahat ng magagaling na teams sa buong mundo nandoon. Kahit i echa pwera mo na yang Jones Cup na yan. Minor league naman yan. Winning that tournament won't help our cause.

Jason Castro may be fearless and hard to stop in the PBA, but can he replicate his 'successes' in FIBA (where guards are smarter and quicker, and centers more fearsome and more accurate shot blockers). Sana lang mag-click siya. Jayvee Casio has time and again proven his worth in the FIBA, and maaaring nadagdagan ang maturity niya in his short PBA stints (with Powerade and now Alaska). I'd go for Arwind Santos than Japhet Aguilar. Have you seen him played against the legit NBA stars (Kobe and Co.) in a not so distant past? He was awesome (well it was only an exhibition, but NBA stars are NBA stars- the FIBA world champion, mind you.

Parang hinahagod ni Coach Reyes ang ego ni Japhet matapos itong mag-sentimyento sa forgettable stint niya sa TnT. As for Arwind, maybe (just maybe) naiilang pa si Coach sa consistent stance of SMC (altho ok na ngayon kasi ma-cricriticize sila as being non-cooperative on national interest)na magpahiram kaya si Junmar na lang kinuha. I'll bet my half-year salary, Japhet won't make the final 12.

Jason Castro was a Filipino import before coming to the PBA... so he is used to international play...

Arwind is better than japeth but SMC will allow only one player for each of their teams...

Casio should be in the lineup...

Ei sir with the way japeth played on his first game back mukhang papasok cya sa final line up malaki ang improvement na nya( altho first game lang and kung maging consistent cya)

Yes casio should be in the line up sanay yan sa international games and di takot tumira kahit malaki bantay nya pero sino papalitan nya? Castro? Tenorio? Or ryan reyes? Anyway madaming sana... Hintayin nalang natin mafinalized ang final 12 for sure magrereact na naman tayo :)

Arwind Santos is too small to play Small Forward and too slow to guard shooting guards in international competition. It would be difficult to gauge his performance on that exhibition game against the NBA players since that was only an exhibition game. Nothing against the Lithuanian teams. But smart gilas should play the top caliber european teams instead. Just my 2 cents.
